Part of me thinks that Ruin is secretly trying to help. Yes he could have just done it himself but he decided to ask for help instead. The fact he is fully capable of getting the stuff he’s being sent out to get by himself but chooses to go to the others makes me think that he is trying to subtlety trying to tell the others kinda what Nexus and Dark Sun are planning. Like “I may not know or be able to tell you what they are doing but it has to do something with ‘this’.” Kinda giving little hints that everyone can use to think of what Nexus and Dark Sun are planning.
I find it pretty smart of Ruin to do, it also fits well with how cunning and manipulative he is.

Solar wasn't proud of Jack using the pepper spray breath in the moment. Then again, it's likely Sun had told Solar how Jack abused that feature on him a few times before this encounter.

@@gachabox3142 I’m hoping that Jack won’t die and get Solar’s praise too. Yet with the current situation Jack and Molten are likely 2 of the first responders to threats. So Jack’s boldness to face danger with likely get him either injured or dead at some point when he’s protecting the family.
We can only hope that Solar has been making some back ups of Jack in case. Yes Jack had super speed, yet if he’s caught off guard or while recovering from the burst of speed it could leave him vulnerable to attack. So far Jack has no kind of shield. I hope that Solar will install one for his son.
@@EmilySpiritExT I don’t want Jack to die either but knowing how this show operates it’s entirely possible. If it does, I hope Solar gets all the comfort he needs. If Solar made back-ups, then bringing Jack back should be a breeze.
@@gachabox3142 Yeah, I don't think Solar would wanna loose Jack. Jack can be annoying at times, but he's extremely loyal to the family and Solar! I hope Solar will work on Jack while he's grounded so he can defend himself well against their enemies because Jack deserves it. I agree with you that there's a chance Jack could die. But I think it would be low given how quick Jack is at responses and at top speed, I'm sure that Dark Sun nor Nexus would be able to catch him. Only chances they'd have is when Jack is at his slowest pace and that's not easy since it's clear that Jack is constantly on the look out for danger. He was 360 vision I think he said once, so he can see his surroundings all at the same time. So it'd be pretty hard to sneak up on him.
I hope Solar won't have to loose Jack. But if that is what it takes for Solar and Sun to understand that Nexus can't be saved at all, then ohhhhh they are gonna be some grumpy boys! How DARE villains murder a KID!!!!!! They would need the family to help hold them back because that crosses the line!
I think maybe that Rez would have a higher chance to get Jack through infection by using Dazzle's old form. Yes Jack knows that Dazzle is little and cute now. But if he sees Dazzle's old form being active, it might error his listing. I would imagine that on the good list in Jack is Dazzle still her original body too, so he might have trouble in that encounter. I'm sure he'll still put up a fight especially as her former body lashes out. Yet he might not give it his all because it's the former body of his bestie. So emotionally he probably wouldn't give it his all.
And if the family must off corrupted Jack to save the world, well, it'd be so hard to do because they all love and care for Jack, even if corrupted, there would be some hesitation to killing him. And if Jack gets taken over, well, he can just bolt to Lunar and infect him like Rez wants. Then there be more trouble to deal with to try to save Lunar from that corruption.

I appreciated how Jack was so protective of Solar when facing Ruin, but I feel like our little pumpkin man has a lot of trauma from Solar's death that needs to be addressed. I also love the father-and-son relationship between Solar and Jack it so amazing! The whole episode was absolutely fantastic!
Seeing how Jack is insecure about somethings you might be right about the trauma.
I hope we get an episode where it is addressed and Jack and Solar have a sweet moment together.

@@Nitro89 Yeah. I think Sun could stop it in time since it hasn't been mentioned since. I don't think a year would be enough for burning down the family house for smores. If it managed to get out of control, yes the family would be homeless and hopefully none of them would be injured from the house collapsing. Yet if anyone gotten injured yet survived the burning of the house, then well, repairs would be needed. And it'd likely they would have to move into Moon's lab for a bit so either Moon can buy another house for the family or have the property cleared off and get a new house built where the previous one burnt down. Jack would have been grounded for much longer than a year I think if the fire managed to take over the house. Luckily it didn't!
