Part of me thinks that Ruin is secretly trying to help. Yes he could have just done it himself but he decided to ask for help instead. The fact he is fully capable of getting the stuff he’s being sent out to get by himself but chooses to go to the others makes me think that he is trying to subtlety trying to tell the others kinda what Nexus and Dark Sun are planning. Like “I may not know or be able to tell you what they are doing but it has to do something with ‘this’.” Kinda giving little hints that everyone can use to think of what Nexus and Dark Sun are planning. I find it pretty smart of Ruin to do, it also fits well with how cunning and manipulative he is.
I love Jack in protective mode, yet he's still holding back because his father been working with him to not go for kills. He is so good, letting them talk while still being on guard and listening to Solar!

Yet if anyone gotten injured yet survived the burning of the house, then well, repairs would be needed. And it'd likely they would have to move into Moon's lab for a bit so either Moon can buy another house for the family or have the property cleared off and get a new house built where the previous one burnt down. I appreciated how Jack was so protective of Solar when facing Ruin, but I feel like our little pumpkin man has a lot of trauma from Solar's death that needs to be addressed. I also love the father-and-son relationship between Solar and Jack it so amazing! The whole episode was absolutely fantastic!
Seeing how Jack is insecure about somethings you might be right about the trauma.
I hope we get an episode where it is addressed and Jack and Solar have a sweet moment together.

@@Nitro89 Yeah. I think Sun could stop it in time since it hasn't been mentioned since. I don't think a year would be enough for burning down the family house for smores. If it managed to get out of control, yes the family would be homeless and hopefully none of them would be injured from the house collapsing. Yet if anyone gotten injured yet survived the burning of the house, then well, repairs would be needed. And it'd likely they would have to move into Moon's lab for a bit so either Moon can buy another house for the family or have the property cleared off and get a new house built where the previous one burnt down. Jack would have been grounded for much longer than a year I think if the fire managed to take over the house. Luckily it didn't!

Yay, more reasons for me to despise Jack. And Solar, if you really knew what Ruin's been through you wouldn't be saying that. Solar was abused by one guy, and Ruin had to deal with everyone he cared about slowly losing their minds, and becoming murderous monsters. If Solar had to deal with his Moon for more than 50 years, I bet he'd snap and do something that extreme too. Ruin didn't even want to kill Solar. He literally helped Solar and Moon find D.Sun's location by leaving that clue behind, and Solar can't even be grateful. And it annoys me that Ruin never tries to defend himself physically. And Jack only started treating Solar like his father after he died. Before that he gladly attacked Solar upon Lunar's request, and now suddenly I'm supposed to believe Jack always cared about Solar? Ruin's the best character in this show, and I'm sick of the way he's being treated.
If you watch the episode where he meets molten for the first time he explains why he was purely programmed to be a killer protector and animatronic he grew sentence on his own and saw solar as his father. It wasn’t something that was program
