Good morning, my wife is a maths tutor, once you entered the examination room with SBA grades from 17-20 you already have a pass mark of 3, so person with 30 to 60 have obtained a pass.
Pass mark of 3 meaning grade 3?
I have 48/60 for the paper 1 and 20/20 for sba will I have a chance for a grade 2?
The multiple choice will be marked out of 80%
I got 46-47/60 and 20/20 in my sba will that give me a grade 3

All I gotta say is that, just like in 2020 many students actually the majority I assume will pass maths. Especially eating high grade slike 1s and 2 and possibly distinctions.

@@iantawilliams4303 idk tbh but I'm pretty sure that for those of us who got 40 and up with a decent sba grade will pass because I know a girl who did the exam back in 2020 and she got around 40+ and she received a grade II

But I think the Sba's worth 40% and paper 1 60%. So I think if a person gets full marks on their sba but got atleast 26/60😮 on their paper 1, then they might have a chance. Im not so sure but im just guessing.

Yes I doing over maths
They stole 9 csec subjects in jamaica release by cxc on their website and is currently doing investigation and i feel like maths paper 1 is one of them because of its value
It is, maths poa social studies and english a, the rest is cape stuff
They did not go there for cxc papers ..the school was robbed and they took a safe which happens to be the fire proof safe with cxc papers....Sad

They'll put this paper for 80% instead of the previous 30% so the marks in total will be 160 rather than 60 marks. So it's 2.6 marks per question.
How do you know this? (Not saying you're wrong,but what's your source)

My math teacher. And I also had to logically calculate this before I even asked her. This only makes sense. Unless they leave the paper1 as it is and do something to the SBA.
So saying if someone gets 25 in mc then they still past cause 25 by 2.6 as a percent is 65 plus sba marks😮

40/60=67% and 16/20=80%
(Edit) I watched another Math Teacher and got that score, but when I watch Kerwin Springer, I got 43/60=72%.
