The Kingspan insulation on the side of the house Jesse is manufactured a few miles from where I live in Co.Cavan Ireland 🇮🇪 Great company. Brilliant video mate
He absolutely brings tears of joy to my eyes! Especially that episode when he was just in awe of the sunset and talking about the colors and how beautiful it was! Reminds me much of my son when he was that age.
I'm someone who will likely never attempt the kind of work you show on your channel (my career is in a science field) but this stuff is better than watching any tv show or movie. I'm always impressed how you are skilled at so many different trades man. good stuff
Awesome job Jesse and You're awesome, son. And a great dad. I love watching your boys when they're around you. They are gonna learn a lot from you. Love your videos, buddy. From London, Ontario, Canada.
Dear Jesse have just seen your video on your parent's septic field. Just to let you know that Dirt Boss has over 100 truck loads of fill to move from a Solar Farm. I believe he is in your area. Love watching your videos and your family. Best wishes from Dianne & Vic, Perth Western Australia.
hope that tree in the shallow well next to the wall, and the trees down the wall where the dirt is piled up all survive. I went through the riser install on my 40 yr old septic tanks last summer. Spent about a month hand digging out the tops of the two tanks, down 16-18" and clearing off enough of the tops to put the risers in place. First had to find the openings. Now any future septic access will be a piece of cake.
Your expertise and skill are very satisfying to watch. Appreciate your sharing the videos on you mom and dad's property. Blessings to you all your family. Asking Our Heavenly Father to bless you all with health, strength, safety, wisdom, peace, unity and success. ☝️🙏🙌💪🇺🇸🎯❤️
The way you all help out one another, and how you all have your strengths, and weaknesses, and always there for one another, is awesome and so rare in this day and age we are now living in, enjoy your and your dad's videos, and always watching when either of you drop a new one. I remember either you or your dad stated that he is getting a geothermal system around his home, as are you, and wondering as your filling all this up, did the geothermal system already go in?? or do you, afer doing ALL THIS WORK on filling and bringing it all up, now have to redig to install all that pipe for the geothermal heating and cooling systems?? and will you both be done with it all before winter and the ground starts to freeze?? Love the rock walls that you mom builds and the one around the tree, a woman of many talents. Awesome that your two sons want to also get involved as well. Will be intersting to see how you all develop your land, over the years, and make it to be what you all want your lands to become, where each of your homes sits, and seeing your sons as they continue to grow and learn more and get more involved in things. God bless you all.
Good job so far. You and your Dad have a lot of careful landscaping post pond, to really set of the house,as you will have when yours is done. Thanks for posting creative videos. Best from the UK
What a wonderful piece of equipment that skid-steer has become. And your ability to finesse and work that machine is quite amazing!! It sure has been a wonderful investment for sure!! Sure is great to see your family working together with warm interactions. All the best from Surrey BC Canada
Looks great J . Let's hope your dad gets the 60-70yds you need from the pond . You'll probably need 10 or 15 more to fill your borrow hole . The fact that it's all clay and rocks there doesn't matter much since there's an abundance of slope huh . Without that slope , you'd have a problem draining around the field .
You got me. trolled pretty well. Wet clay can be a pain to work with. I currently am dealing with a lot of nothing but sand and it is dry as can be, everything has been churning it up and now you cannot drive hardly anything but a tracked machine on it. It isn't the worst but was hard to dig a basement without the walls caving in.
We do the excess area around the leachfield It's called five-foot over dig before you start the three to one slope. Adds to the field beyond the pipe and stone.
Looks good Jesse. I noticed the handrail was still missing on the house. What type of railing is your dad going with on the deck? Wood picket, glass or metal?
44:47 why not just keep the pond ? put sunfish ynd trout in it against mosquitos , add some kettle and leave it be id seifen it empty , pull more fill out of it and make it a proper garden pond , extend grade out from the house , add a pavillion
Jesse, what drone are you flying?? You may have mentioned it in a description and I missed it. I enjoy watching your videos. Have for yrs. #KeepemComin
actually they do have scales on the loaders. it references the hydraulic pressure in the cylinders to measure. They are not super accurate and need to be calibrated but they get you close
About this combination rigs being loaded just before you: I don’t see how that fifth wheel configuration can get enough weight on the steer axle. The trailer connects really far from the front of the tractor.
I dont know how so many people caught that. you guys must be really paying close attention. I did not see it until now and I played it several times after a few people said the same thing lol
How is this a raised bed when it’s below the outlet of the tank 😂 no manhole or t-pieces .. a lovely level site and leaves the tank above ground level and moved a mountain of dirt to cover it and leaves it every way in level .. crazy stuff a pump would have cost way less and lasted a long time. Way to close to the house for smells especially with no t-piece on inlet ..
Its a raised bed because I raised the area where the bed is. Doesnt matter where the tank sits, that has nothing to do with it being called a raised bed. And what do you mean no manholes, there are 2. We didnt want a pump, more to go wrong. And what do you mean no t piece on the inlet, what does that have to do with smell. The smell would only be from the bed which is like 100ft from the house. Did you actually watch the video?
@@jmuller86 it’s not a raised bed it’s below the tank.. the ground around the tank is higher.. yes a t- piece on the inlet for smells .. raw sewage smells .. be no smell from the percolation area it’s completely covered.. a vent on the d box is to far from the tank.. tank isn’t vented .. gas rises. A pump was the solution would last for years could have been after the outlet in a separate chamber. Easily accessible after the filter. Raised over the original ground with now is below ground.

Your youngest son is a joy to watch. You're a lucky nan.
He absolutely brings tears of joy to my eyes! Especially that episode when he was just in awe of the sunset and talking about the colors and how beautiful it was! Reminds me much of my son when he was that age.
Really liked the hand raking of the stone I just wished it worked that fast in real life. Good job and your blessed having family that close.
Love the team work. More families need to watch your videos.
Thanks for doing a part 2, turned out nice.
You just never have enough fill on any project.
It's nice to see you and your dad work helping each other to build your homes, and thanks for sharing with us
Yay, both sunglasses aaaaaand trucking in the same video, thanks J.
Good thing you got tracks instead of wheels on the skid steer, great video Jesse thanks for sharing!
Thanks for filming this. I appreciate seeing the whole job wrapped up!
Lots of work you saved your folks a lot of money and they got a very good septic system
The Gehl sure seems like it was a good investment, seems to be running great.
Another brilliant video, Jesse. Such a hard-working family a beautifully placed homes
You have a lot of construction sites , plus the " Family , Respect " !

Impressive that the septic field seems actually bigger than the footprint of the house...
Great job, thx for the follow-up!

I'd say your dad thought the project through very smart and you built to his intent. Good teamwork. Your daughter sure is good natured. 👍👍👍

Another good ideo Jesse!
Looks great, Jesse.
looks great
traco artis, you did a beautifull job.thanks for helping mom and dad. 🙏💎🍾🥂🐓💪🐞🌹🌶💘🎉❤🌴🇹🇹
Awesome work Jesse
It is interesting that your dads soil test was so different then yours since it seems like the same type of land

Your parents are so fortunate to have a son who is as talented as you. Keep up the great content!
Excellent job.
Nice work Jesse
Looking good, septic systems can cover a lot of ground and be expensive.
Nice,if you give me a d3 and about two days...i could make that place shine
Boa tarde Jesse muito top esse trabalho máquina meu amigo
hope you are good great job on your house
Honestly it helps that side of the house, it was a bit exposed and low on that side. Once he fills it in even more it will look great.
How far to the quary??. You didnt clip the scales. Wanted to see.
At the beginning @2:10 of the video, was Buddy in the red shirt at the quarry falling down?
Good to see you egain
Good to see you too
Looks good Jesse. I noticed the handrail was still missing on the house. What type of railing is your dad going with on the deck? Wood picket, glass or metal?
Im doing a cable with 1 1/4 inch black pipe for uprights and top rail

Es posible incluir subtitulos en Español por favor?
Sería muy positivo
Let's build that septic system
How close is your house to your parents house
Couldn't the drainage field been lowered?
No sir. That is a fixed height determined by the engineer. Cannot be lowered in any way, shape, or form
what quarry is this
i always thought they had special equipment for measuring how many yards going into the load...then i found out that they just eyeball it
actually they do have scales on the loaders. it references the hydraulic pressure in the cylinders to measure. They are not super accurate and need to be calibrated but they get you close
@@jmuller86 oh, thats why the loader was shaking the bucket to fine load it. interesting, thank you for your reply.
About this combination rigs being loaded just before you:
I don’t see how that fifth wheel configuration can get enough weight on the steer axle. The trailer connects really far from the front of the tractor.
I think those trucks are just really heavy in the front so there is only a minimal amount of weight you can add before going over on your front axle
I enjoyed the video 😊
👍🏼❤️😘
Jesse I noticed that in another video part 1 the pins that holds the hydraulic thumb on your excavator and almost out but I may be wrong
👍👍👌
Probably needs a retaining wall under the patio to hold that soil.
Awesome
I call it the Monte Muller😂
Ähem. Wheeler😅
dayum did that guy @2:09 break his freakin leg or what 😂
I dont know how so many people caught that. you guys must be really paying close attention. I did not see it until now and I played it several times after a few people said the same thing lol
Jesse I was seriously over here cracking up at that poor guy. You cut right when he was about to completely crash and burn LOL
Mantap
One more thing scratched off list.
I don't understand where the poop goes
It stays in the first tank in the inlet side. It degrades over time
early watch gang
👍

Feel like I’m watching the movie Spun
plant some rhubarb just outside the perimeter of that leach field
