This is a great animal rescue center. They do much needed, miraculous work but need viewers'donations to continue. Hope and sympathy don't pay the vet bills, unfortunately. I donate monthly and feel great for doing so. Plz take a few minutes to donate and help save a life. You'll be better for it and won't ever regret it.
A bittersweet story for this poor soul... He must have surely died in agony if you hadn´t arrived in time. It was a real pity his leg was beyond salvation...but now he is happy and healthy and that was what counts. He must have been in pain until that horrible wire was removed, it's sad that he lost his leg but his sadness lifted as soon as he could be back with all his friends. Ermioni always does the best for the Dogs and she knew he needed to go back to his friends in the neighbour hood where the residents will look out for him as will Ermoni. If anyone wants to adopt him Ermioni will make the arrangements. All that matters is that he is happy in the place he knows, with his friends. He will be be looked after. We all know how much Ermioni does the best for all her rescues. He is very happy now so she made the best decision.

I've watched enough Dr. Jeff shows to know that a 3-legged animal, at least of the smaller animals, are not impeded at all. They adapt quite well and don't seem to even realize they are missing a leg.
