Sehr, sehr schön und berührend, lieber Peter. Die Musik, dein virtuoses Spiel und auch das sehr ästhetische filmische Werk. Alles stimmt perfekt zusammen. 👌🙏💛
Godly Bach was inspired by Fischer, very good quality. His preludes and fugues in particular. Other sources of inspiration were Frescobaldi, the neighbor Pachelbel, Buxtehude and perhaps Froberger and Peyer.
May the 1624 Ruckers harpsichord thrive for many more decades to come! Everything about the instrument is perfect to my eyes and ears. What does it feel like to play the instrument? Are the keys light to the touch? How difficult is it to keep in tune?
It was of course a very special experience to play and record this extraordinary, incredibly characteristic original harpsichord. The instrument is very pleasant and uncomplicated to play and was well maintained at the time of the CD recordings. The keys are very light and precise in their touch. The tuning was very stable and satisfactory and held very well, so that hardly any corrections were necessary during the CD recordings. All in all, a perfect instrument for the interpretation of the magnificent harpsichord works of Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer! The double CD (Tastenfreuden 14) I recorded on the Colmar Ruckers in April 2023 can be ordered here: www.peterwaldner.at

Ohne Worte....😲
Beautiful! 👏
Wonderful. Is this harpsichord tuned in quarter-comma meantone temperament for this performance?
Thank you very much! 🙏 The temperament of this harpsichord is Jean-Philippe Rameau (1726) in the interpretation of Paul Poletti.
@@peterwaldner3755 Thank you so much for telling us!
Lindo!
Do you think Bach may have modeled the opening of his "Wachet auf" cantata (BWV 140) after this piece?
I don't think so, but who knows?
BWV 140 was composed in 1731, while Musicalischer Parnassus was likely published in 1738. So, it's unlikely!!
@@cameronkhan2823 What explains the fact that they're virtually identical? A common influence on both the Fischer and Bach movements?
