As someone who owns one of these beauties, I can say it was one of the best gifts I've ever gotten. Not only can it take a beating, but the manufacturer's warranty actually covers most of the abuse you put it through. It does its job and it does it well. I honestly cannot sing this bike's praises enough.
Family stuff is why I’ve been focusing here. I just can’t get to the range enough to keep up with testing firearms and related gear. This channel lets me continue making videos, but mainly from home. That’s what I need right now, and I’m glad I can do it.

I'm new to E Bikes and don't know anything about battery power. This has a 48v battery and I noticed some bikes have 52v batteries. Is there a obvious difference in power with the smaller voltage batteries ? I live in San Francisco and need a bike that is strong enough to pull a small trailer about 100# in wt up hills. Would you consider this bike strong enough to do something like that ?

Hey as much as you and your wife ride can you upgrade your shifters to the type you prefer. Maybe even the better grade of hydraulic brakes. Save your original parts in case you resale later on down the road and keep your upgrades for next ebike.

looks like the aventon aventure except for the welds don't come close and the components don't compare. braking is a must and Aventon nailed it for that price point. good looking bike though.
The Aventon Aventure fat tire bike is more bike for just a bit more money. I think the thermal management system is great, but honestly, they went cheap on some other components that I think most would prefer over thermal management. The shifter, derailleur, mech brakes, and those fenders, etc. = low quality. Your review was great!
I own a Snapcycle R1. Before i pulled the trigger to go for a snapcycle, i did compare with the Aventon Aventure and communicated with the snapcycle CS via live chat. The Aventure cheaped out on its battery with non-branded cells, whereas the snapcycle uses samsung cells. With non-branded cells, the manufacturer could make substantial amount of saving without being noticed by the end customers. I prefer having a long-lasting battery instead of having a slightly better derailleur . It's really up to you guys , choose what suits you the best as there are so many options in the market right now.

With the prices on ebikes that have hydraulic brakes climbing a lot over the past few months, I’m not sure any are left under $1700. I definitely prefer hydraulic brakes, but the Tektro mechanical brakes are plenty adequate for the riding this bike is capable of. Thanks for watching!
Looks like the R1 stepthrough now comes with 2 piston hydraulic brakes default. It's the main reason I'm interested in them, and what led me here. Looks like the "standard" will have a hydraulic option from the factory this summer.

Every bike in this price range doesn't have hydraulic. Some you can pay $100 extra for hydraulic brakes
