Girl, now that you're engaged, enjoy sharing the news and being a fiancée! And even if you're not seriously planning a wedding yet, you can casually observe others' weddings and start brainstorming! My husband and I spent a year and a half planning. I entertained all ideas from Vegas to a state park, to a home wedding. 😅
So nice to see couples willing to sit in their engagement for a while. Thats what me and my s/o plan to do. And the flowers are gorgeous 💖🥹🙏🏾
my fiance and i are going on 1 yr 3 months engaged!! the past year, we both grew in our careers, went to paris, further developed our friendships (which will make for a more awesome party at the wedding), and went on multiple other trips (some small and some large). we had SO many opinions about our own wedding from other people at the beginning, but now that has subsided and we can just enjoy the process ourselves without others constantly interjecting. i cannot stress how nice it is to not rush into the marriage!! take your time, grow as an engaged couple, and do it for you, not anyone else! enjoy and happy engagement!
