Two of my favourite languages, France and English. I' read that 29% of English words are originally from France language. I'm brazilian and l'm learning them simultaneously.

Liaison is one word that makes me hesitate. When I have to pronounce it, I tend to the French way. 😳
I think it is the same in English, but we pronounce the final 'n' harder!

Pork is a French word. Before English only call pig but then French had controlled England long time ago so they have taught English to call the pig meat pork because it’s not polite to says pig
When I visited ireland, i saw a road sign with "cul de sac" writen on it. In French it qualifies a road that goes nowhere. 😊
