I don’t know why I feel so nostalgic listening to this now, I really miss those good old days 😭😭😫 I discovered k-pop in 2020, I had no friends and my parents were always busy with work, I had no one to communicate with. My parents didn’t know anything about what I was going through. The only conversation I had with my family was a simple good morning and good night everyday. That was it. Then, I found BTS. I started with BTS and slowly started listening to blackpink, it was like magic, looking back, those memories were my cure to just everything that started in 2020. School was online, summer break felt wayyyyy too long, I wasn’t a teen back then, it was new and exciting, but scary at the same time. I remember finding this song in the summer and fell in love, it was painful to listen to it, but it felt so nostalgic. I am now listening to this a year later, and I feel like crying. I’m not a blink anymore but I still love their music. I just really miss those days when it felt like blackpink was actually a group, they just feel so distant and separated now. 🥺😫😫😭😭😭😭😭 I would do anything to go back in time…. I agree, It's one of my fave song from Blackpink and one of the only song i actually love from KTL. When i feel sad, i just come back to it to feel sadder.
I think its because Stay is not realky a sad song. It just talks about how they'll be there for each other and take care of each other. They'll be their own "light" in a world full of darkness. DKWTD is highly sad because this one is saying how they really don't know what to do without the other one. They're lost and scared and lonely.
