It is very useful. Actually i'm a native Spanish speaker and i'm trying to learn Korean in all ways, not only to speak or read, i want to work with Korean and Latin spanish Literature for my Undergraduate Thesis. Thanks for share your language.
It’s like between b and p..... you know what do not even listen to me even though I understand I don’t want to tell you the wrong thing PS it’s not like like ㅍ its with more b like bowl with a p
Just finished watching the whole video and I gotta say that these are the best explanations I've ever heard on these topics!!! Thank you so much for all your work sir!! Much appreciated! :) ;) I've honestly been struggling for years with some of those things, even with different ppl trying to explain them, some things still didn't make sense (especially the particles!) I think I'm just on the verge of finally understanding them now, thx to this video :)
On the use of r/l, it was omitted that when two are together, then the pronunciat is then as two L sounds. As an example, a crescent kick in Guk Sool Won is pronounced, by most non-Koreans, as dool ray chagi. In reality, it should be dool lay chagi because there are two r/l together.
I tried many apps but this is soooo much better and easy to understand. I'm really thankful!! I'm learning korean for my own fun so it's difficult to find someone around me who can answer my questions.
Hi Denice, Thanks for posting. As 부탁하다 is the base form of the verb 'to request', you would not use it as is, you would have to conjugate it. Cheers, Team KoreanClass101.com
hi, I just found your post. Thank you, it is helpful. My question is how do you pronounce "th" in Korean or with haungul? My name is Deatherage so I was curious.
Why we write letters on the bottom of every letter, pls. Explain , when do we need to put letters on the bottom, can we just write it straight, thank you so much
Hello Lina, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We really appreciate your feedback! We have now updated the title and thumbnail to be closer to the actual running length. Keep up the good work! Team KoreanClass101.com
Hi Vaveshka V, Thanks for your comment. [생각: saenggak ] means "thought(noun)", and [생각을 하다: saenggageul hada] stands for "to think(verb)". Hope this answered your question! Best, Rebecca Team KoreanClass101.com
Gian garcia because ㄱ would be prounced as K if it is the inital of the word and it will be pronounced as G if it is not. For example: 가구 read as "kagou" means furniture You may see that there is both ㄱㄱ at the first word and the second word. ㄱ pronounced as K ㅏPronounced as AH So 가 pronouced as KAH Then you may see there would be the second word of ka-gou the GOU ㄱit will be pronounced as "G" because its now a second word not an inital. plus the ㅜ OU so GO will be 구. Kahgou K and G are there the K would be the inital and G was not.
Not 100% correct. It also changes if it is between two vowels or a consonant and a vowel. It is pronounced as Guk (national) because there is consonant considered to come before single words. If the word preceding it ends in a vowel, it is a K and if it is consonant, then the sound is the G.
Koreans talk very fast maybe it's because korean words are kinda short so when you think they said one word actually are three words what they said hahaha that's my problem with korean language (one of them)
I am confused. I have watched several videos on the Korean language and they all say different ways to say "Nice to meet you". Theres "Bangawoyo" "Bangapseumida" and another.

Keep in mind that hangul is the written language while hangeulmal is the spoken. As a note, hangeukin is one term for a Korean person.

Anyeonghaseyo is the both leaving reply. Basically, you both say "Go well". Anyeong is also a greeting as in hello.
Either annyeonghaseyo or annyeonghi gaseyo will do :)

Can I use "요즘 어떻게 지내요?" to anyone? Or is it informal
you can use that to anyone in a polite situation. It's for people who are older than you or that you want to show respect to. Hope this helps :)

Why does G sometimes turn to a K?
see the fkin vid
Gian garcia because ㄱ would be prounced as K if it is the inital of the word and it will be pronounced as G if it is not.
For example:
가구 read as "kagou" means furniture
You may see that there is both ㄱㄱ at the first word and the second word.
ㄱ pronounced as K
ㅏPronounced as AH
So 가 pronouced as KAH
Then you may see there would be the second word of ka-gou the GOU
ㄱit will be pronounced as "G" because its now a second word not an inital. plus the ㅜ OU so GO will be 구. Kahgou K and G are there the K would be the inital and G was not.
Gian garcia it's how they pronounce it, their letters aren't pronounce the same way like roman letters
Not 100% correct. It also changes if it is between two vowels or a consonant and a vowel. It is pronounced as Guk (national) because there is consonant considered to come before single words. If the word preceding it ends in a vowel, it is a K and if it is consonant, then the sound is the G.
Gian garcia because ㄱ has a soft G sound
can you please translate this in a most polite or honorific ( my name is Leo montemayor, I am 37 yrs old, married, I have 3 kids)
Annyeong romaniZaZatiTionon
I really want to know what is 'Yasmine' in korean bc thats my name :/
Koreans talk very fast maybe it's because korean words are kinda short so when you think they said one word actually are three words what they said hahaha that's my problem with korean language (one of them)
you can ask them to slow down by saying 천천히 말 주세요(cheoncheonhi mal juseyo) if you want haha
I am confused. I have watched several videos on the Korean language and they all say different ways to say "Nice to meet you". Theres "Bangawoyo" "Bangapseumida" and another.
Which one is correct? Are they both correct?
bahawoyo is informal and bagapseumida is formal
Okay, thanks
very difficult indeed
2019?
I thought 니다 was more polite than 요? I'm a little confused ahahah

This is why I'm not going to bother learning to read Korean. Conversational speaking and listening will do me fine for business trips.
I'm a beginner learner and also just want to speak and understand Korean but the tips I've gathered said to still learn Hangul
