If I power a device with 60601 certified power supply that delivery 6VDC@1A to this device (working voltage) and so this device is connected to medical device, what insulation requirements do I need achieve ? Example: A ethernet/serial converter, with ethernet side connected to supervisory system and TIA/EIA-232 serial port connected to medical device like a parametric monitor. The power supply of ethernet/serial converter is connected to 220VAC/60Hz and has not an earth protection conductor. I mean that power source plus ethernet/serial will be certified together as a system regarding insulation. (e.g. GSM06U06-P1J power supply). Thanks in advance.
I'm appreciate you to share these perfect cause!!!

What is the difference between applied parts vs accessible parts
Applied are the parts you put in contact with the patient by intention. Accessible parts can come into contact but are not connected by intention.
