I can't understand what the problem is? Do a cover of whole albums, most of them are very demanding to play, you play incredibly good and you don't even have 5k subscribers? Some retards have a million people following them ... Wtf ?! Keep working, I love your covers, all the best !!
And i read... 1) The audio always matches the footage 2) I didn't punch in or re-record anything off camera 3) I absolutely did not take breaks! JESUS. MAN... You should get a trophy or a crown or something!
Did the chick who filmed this dig the solos? Her faces must have been entertaining to watch even if she didn't like what she heard. Davidson can make anyone's jaw drop with his penchant for extremely unique lead phrasing. "The Outer Ones" to me is his best written, performed, recorded solo to date.
So I am actually relatively new to Revocation. But I can still remember the first time I heard the solo of Blood Atonement at 13:45 . My jaw dropped and for some reason I just really dig the intro to that solo. I even replay the song and skip back to the solo to hear it again. I think it is absolutely stunning sounding. And what a great cover man. I couldn't even imagine the dedication it took to learn all of this. I am no where near this skill level. You killed it!
God damn I love how thematic and thoughtfully put together this album really is. riffs like 44:35, 20:15, 12:26, 3:40 (the harmonies on the ending of the solo **chefs kiss**) 7:09 (where Daves also describing the planet swallowing monster from the album art, my personal favorite, so fuckin heavy) and so many more. All really drive home that creepy sci-fi horror feel to this album. Nether heaven has been my favorite album to just play through top to bottom since its release but there's just something about the outer ones that's always captivating. You sir, absolutely put that Jackson to work. Nice fuckin job dude! seriously inspired me to grab the tab book and tackle this mountain of an album myself. Cheers! 🍻
The Way of All Flesh or L'Enfant Sauvage album by Gojira would be pretty dope. I bet it would pretty simple with your skill level too lol good job daddy
I just got the tab book for this album and I'm starting to learn Of Unworldly Origin. Anyone who can cover just one of these songs is impressive to me - the fact that you did the ENTIRE album is absolutely mind blowing. Great job, man.
@Sam Mooradian I had my 7-string for sale. But after seeing you play this playthrough i quickly took it offline and purchased this tab book. Man, this looks like so much fun! Thanks for the inspiration and motivation my dude.
I just discovered Revocation this year because apparently I live under a rock. Outer Ones was my entry point and honestly watching you play through it just deepens my appreciation of it. It sounds fantastic. Nice fucking job, and thank you!
This is ridiculous. Having only learned a few of these songs and knowing how much time it took me to play them at a poorer level of competency, I can't give you enough praise on this. Incredible skill
Fuck me !!! When I saw the title I was like "no fucking way that dude covered the whole album", then I watched the video and my jaw dropped. Spot on mate! Wow, you put so much work into this, and it shows. You my friend, are a legend. That album is a masterpiece. Great fucking work. Your technique is simply amazing. Lost for words, really.
There are so many subtle differences between your playing style, and the way Revocation recorded the album. I love it, hahaha! The Whammy Pedal is honestly amazing, and adds a new element to Revocation songs I miss when I hear the original! Absolutely amazing! Very well done!!
God, I just found your channel, you're literally destroying every song I hope to be able to learn one day! (in a good way!) Necrophagist, Black Dahlia Murder, Revocation... and more! Your picking hand looks so relaxed, even when crossing strings, it blows my mind. I recently started to "relearn" picking to use more wrist and less arm, I can't even imagine being so accurate with my playing. Amazing job!
Very very incredibly well done, I watched this while high and can say how amazing accurate considering it looks like you didn’t use tabs (I doknt even think the tabs were out yet) and how amazing your nuances were to your style, just the amount and how you didn’t over for it. I have shed tears for Dave’s work, the most incredible and a prestige’s players of all time, like nothing ever anyone has put out to date, I can not wait for more material from them and more covers than you. 10/10
The tabs for the whole album are on Sheet Happens, and he's wearing a Sheet Happens shirt, and links Sheet Happens in the description, so he probably used those tabs. Especially since I'm trying to learn of Unworldly Origin and he follows most (if not all) of what the tabs say
@@JasGoodgameJamzYuh oh no I was talking about my spelling 😂 but I did notice he played some lead parts that I haven’t seen tabbed before but hey, still cool as shit 🤘🏻
Dude. You are... thank you. Your time has been put. Your up there. I'd like to think j could pull off clean kicks but back to back hitting Evernote. Bro
how you manage to remember so much music is unfathomable to me! After Nocturnal and Epitaph I am completely blown away yet another time... you VISUALIZE amazing music in an honest way UA-cam hasn't seen before. Good luck on your next venture! How this video only has under 3000 Views is absolutely ridiculous :-D
I am so grateful for my music taste being able to appreciate this kind of works. Playing the guitar myself and having seen Revocation live I can realize how fucking insane their musicianship is. Big props to your video!
Remembering this many notes by heart is a feat. on its own, let alone executing them. P.S: my phone screen's refresh ratio cannot keep up with your right hand. It's all a blur!
I can't even think how hard this must have been to record one time, let alone 4. The tone is on point too, maybe you could share your presets? Amazing job anyway dude you are a guitar god
Harvest hahaha thank you! I used Abasi by Neural DSP for that tone, and I believe I’m using Nolly’s preset titled “Gnarly Rhythm” but I’ll double check that for you 👍🏻
Just discovered this album few weeks ago, instantly fell in love. And to see you cover it in its entirety is a treat to watch. Subscribing right away, for your dedication and hardwork.
I feel like this one almost killed me
Which one's your favorite on the album?

@@sguerilla6142 This. I was honestly shocked at the quality and accuracy of the cover. Plus it's the whole album. Great work. Sam Mooradian.
Impressive I know that wasn’t easy to learn much less remember.
Dude...you fucking killed it! This has me going crazy right now! You got my sub for sure!!!!
If I were Dave, I'd consider this a successful audition for Dan's replacement :O
AeonsOfFrost start the petition, I’ll sign it hahaha
Agreed
Holy shit yeah that would actually be insanely cool. Sam is a legit songwriter too.
10000% agreed

Didn't even do it while singing? Pfffff...
Just kidding, this is insane.

So sick. The section at 38:45 is an all time fav
Big Dissection feel to that whole song
I don’t think people are appreciating how crispy this is
I can't even comprehend how much effort this required, well done dude!
Quite a bit hahaha I appreciate it man!
9:17 might be the heaviest thing that has ever been recorded
shredforceone without a doubt!
the main riff of The outer ones is absolutely nasty, and the ending also.
12:55 is the quintesence of this album. This blast swept away the competition.

Basically a black metal riff

Epitaph and now this? Awesome dude,i refer your cover while learning necrophagist.

Yes! His "Epitaph" full album cover is fantastic!

Masterclass in economy of movement and left hand muting technique. Goddamn man.
