Phi phi O’Hara is the Queen that took the show to international audiences. It’s because of her that the show blew up all over the world. She needs to get her flowers.
I am a stan of Jeremi and Im privileged enough to have spoken to her repeatedly during the broadcast of her season. She was stuffed and treated awfully by the show. Enough said.❤❤❤
@@DelosFive so he was misquoted when he tried to get in jiggly’s and sabotaged her?? And now you speak for everyone??? He is long forgotten and will NEVER come back to drag race. RuPaul and the show have made responses to him. So no I don’t think everyone else forgave him. Nice try though
This just makes me think of the bar reactions to Phi Phi's elimination, you'd think some of those people had just won the lottery, but no, just a person eliminated from a reality TV show.
I DM'd him when I first stated watching the show before I knew of the Sharon drama and everything. I showed my support and said I really enjoyed them on the show and they replied back so quickly with gratitude and friendliness! Jaremi is great.
Season 4 was my first drag season, and I completely fell for the villain edit. Same with all-stars. Now I realize just what a gem he is. I hope Jerami sees the video.
Low key Jeremi didn’t deserve the hate back then or now. All these villains in reality tv but they don’t get that much hate. It’s not even hate at this point it’s just toxic annoyance
While I didn’t hate PhiPhi, I did not like her. For obvious reasons. However, after watching what the show did to her on all stars, seeing her interviews, and UA-cam docs like this, I have come to appreciate and respect them. I feel so bad for how they were portrayed and I can’t even rewatch season 4. I hope she thrives in her future and that she continues being awesome!
Was listening to Willam beat Jaremi down on Race Chaser - so I went and watched the Untucked Willam was talking about. At one point Phi Phi goes to another room to get away from Willam... and Willam follows her (and continues to antagonize her). Not only did she get an awful edit, queens like Willam continue to stoke the flames. I just hope Jaremi has found peace, because they deserve it!
A part of me thinks Jaremi on all stars 2 had the idea that in order to come across better she needed to be more helpful to the other girls, so maybe what to her seemed like advice or feedback actually came across as makin the girls doubt themselves, just my two cents, but i dont think it was malicious, like after all the hate she on s4 why would she want to come across as the villain again?
The moment they said they didn’t need rupauls approval in the first episode of untucked it was over. Mama Ru is a Scorpio she wasn’t gonna let that slide 💅
I think she one of the queens that serve as foundation that build the empire of drag race and the biggest sacrificial lamb of the titular villain edit and the wrath of biased fan base
Didn’t watch S4 at time of its release, but since my first watching of the season, she was my favorite by far. So talented and creative. She was playing messy on AS2, but was still an icon!
Sharon wasn't going home. I love how the Fandom likes to now say Phi Phi won because Sharon is "canceled". Phi phi broke all of the rules that mattered back In that time..she took off her wig and shoes and was messy plus Sharon had the better track record. Phi phi got lucky Willam was disqualified.
Jaremi is an amazing artist and one of the most generous, kind people I have met. So glad more people are seeing this and appreciating his artistry. A couple notes -you say about.365 Days of Drag “on Jan1, 2016, Phi Phi O’Hara would rebrand to Jaremi Carey.” Where did you get that idea? The pictures all say Phi Phi O’Hara on them. Plus, there was nothing else at the time that mentioned any rebranding. Regardless, that project was phenomenal and has remained absolutely amazing. -As noted on the Instagram page you showed, Jaremi uses “he/him/his” pronouns -The quote that you found where he says he doesn’t mind being called Phi Phi is an older quote. More recently he has stated that he just wants to be called Jaremi. Thank you though for showcasing Jaremi’s brilliant work
They need to do a villains season - PhiPhi, Laganja, Gia, Akashia, Raven, Mimi, Roxxxy, Serena, Darienne, Acid, Eureka, Vixen, Silky, Daya, Mistress, Plane
I do agree that Jaremi did not deserve all the hate and some of teh situations turned out crazy, but you can't blame everything on the edit. Jaremi's redemption happend in real life I believe when Sharon's real character came out. But I still believe you should just own it when you do or say something.

Yeah, her original season was wild! I can’t imagine everything they said being out of context, I mean she literally fought with w/everyone except Latrise!
I recall Phi Phi getting a lot of the hate she got because of Detox? She even admitted to it on AS2 when PPOH was discussing how all the hate she got from other queens/the DR fandom, had made her want to quit drag? I believe she became suicidal as well? Detox apologized and admitted to getting the girls together to go after Phi Phi.
Whilst I really thought that Phi Phi was a mean girl, She did her part well!! Whatever part she chose to play. She did an amazing job on the show and honestly she was one of my favorites. She is so talented and who cares about the shade throwing. She exuded confidence and called people out on their BS!!
I loved how after the show PhiPhi and Sharon pretty much became each other. Sharon went all glam and polished and PhiPhi started flying her freak flag.
Honestly. We should blame the edit. As a casual-medium fan o RuPauls, it took me YEARS to know that Sharon was being racist backstage and was being called out for it. I had no ideia the show edited OUT her racist remarks and her being called out for it. Absolutely disgusting. Knowing that now, no wonder Jeramy went at her so many times. And there I was thinking she was the victim. Imagine how many more casual fans still think highly of her because of that season? Completely unacceptable.
PhiPhi was always one of my favorite queens from Drag Race. Jaremi is an amazing talent and has done so much for others. And on a side note, super hot too
I want PhiPhi back not just for redemption but also for the Looks she would bring. And if for drama, I know she's definitely waaaay better than the villain shown in Season4 and AllStar2.
Phi Phi made some of the BEST reality TV moments. Mean girl queens who bullied Phi Phi online should be ashamed. Reality TV is not reality, these stars are performing for our entertainment and Phi Phi definitely entertained. I wish Jaremi all the best.
I was actually at the filming for the finale (sat next to the guy who was sitting next to Alaska not in drag, I was wearing a purple dress and side bangs) and the first queen to get crowned was Sharon. The order went Sharon, Chad, then phi phi for filming. I remember because Sharon got the biggest applause because we all thought we were seeing the winner being filmed, and after that we were told we were going to film Chad and phi phi. The applause for Chad was moderate compared to Sharon, and then a lot less for phi phi, in which, once the filming was done, she said something along the lines of “yeah, I expected that” or something along the lines of knowing that the audience didn’t like her as much as the other two finalists.
Listen, I fell in love with Phi Phi even more after All Stars 2. You cant deny she said what she said but also you know its a show and its produced that way! Her looks were fire and she was great!! Just, please go follow Jaremi ! The art is just PERFECTION ❤
I just had to comment that I fully agree with this whole video. SN was the true villain of season 4 and I will stand by it. I heard about the whole mistreatment of Jaremi a few years ago and feel sooooo sorry for them and the unfair backlash that was sent and sadly is probably still received to this day. Justice for Jaremi!
jaremi’s story makes me so sad, the ‘blame it on the edit’ joke ru does really rubs me the wrong way because the edit can absolutely take a lot of the blame
I was one of those that disliked Phi Phi in her original season. I seriously disliked her because of the way she came across on the show. Then as the years passed, I started to warm up to her on her socials. She was so talented with her makeup looks and she was so witty on the roast tours. She came back for All Stars and I was SO excited! Then things just went down the same path again, and I found myself being so disappointed in her. I never left her any hate though. Im just honestly so sorry for getting sucked up in to the Drag Race hate machine that is created by the show itsself. I should've known better as an adult to hate on someone who I didnt know. I'm now really fatigued with the newer editions of the drag race franchise, so I've started to delve back in to the earlier seasons and I realise just how amazing the original girls were from the first 5 seasons. Particularly Jaremi. It's weird how you see the earlier seasons years later. Perhaps we've all grown up, or we have can see just how manipulated the show was in its infancy. I'm glad Jaremi is doing well and hes still churning out the art. Although i know he doesnt need it, i hope one day he might return to the drag race franchise and the producers actually give Jaremi his flowers. He deserves a lot more love ❤️
Man i remember when the 365 days of drag he was doing and when the last day finally came out i remember being gagged that the look was made from all the previous looks!!! So happy for him to be in a better place !!!!
Jaremi is a complicated person. Her shadiness stems from insecurity, but she has a lot of confidence (rightfully so) as an artist and a performer. (365 Days of Drag is c*unt!) I don't think she's a nasty person, but evidently she doesn't play well with others, at least not under the thumb of WOW. I respect that she's willing to call them out on things while acknowledging the opportunities they have afforded her. I find it appalling that anyone-people who don't know her personally-would threaten to throw acid in her face. (It would be even more disgraceful-albeit unlikely-for anyone who _does_ know her to do so.)
So we have two different personas from two different seasons of "RuPaul's Drag Race," and they chose two different approaches in dealing with being portrayed as villains by the production and, as a result, by the fans: Tyra Sanchez (winner of Season 2) and Phi Phi O'Hara (runner-up of Season 4). Eventually, Tyra broke down and embraced the villain role, which led to a more destructive path, while Phi Phi chose to distance herself from the drag community and focus on constructive and creative aspects of her life. They are not my favorite queens from the franchise, but they certainly do not deserve the negative treatment they received from the production, drag community, and fans.

If there was ever an all stars all villains season…(which doesn’t mean they’re actually villains, but were considered that on their season) I would LIVE for one last phiphi appearance! She was one of my favs and her drag is so so so creative. we would protect her the third time around ❤
I’d love that so much, but realistically, it wouldn’t go well. I’d love a season filled with villains or shady girls but they’d all get attacked online :(
Sadly, Phi Phi is blacklisted from Drag Race after not appearing on the reunion. 😢
Only if it was a non-elimination season. They can't have the opportunity to do it to her a THIRD time.
💯💯💯
Oh wow 50 minutes? Thank you for your work, I can't wait to watch it!
Enough said.❤❤❤
He also didn’t treat people very nicely. He played mind games with certain people. You can’t say that’s a lovely person
@tsxtina2919 he was misquoted and TV was different back then. You can refuse to forgive him all you want. The rest of us do
@@DelosFive so he was misquoted when he tried to get in jiggly’s and sabotaged her?? And now you speak for everyone??? He is long forgotten and will NEVER come back to drag race. RuPaul and the show have made responses to him. So no I don’t think everyone else forgave him. Nice try though
@@tsxtina2919 haha. You miffed much??
@@DelosFive no that would be you. DUH
as2 phi phi was iconic
as2 phi phi is essential viewing....amazing drag evolution AND amazing character too.....the fandom doesnt deserve her
@ohandthefracking "the fandom doesn't deserve her"
Spill that tea sis 💅
Amazingly horrid. There's a difference between reading and just being hateful.
@@jon.callaghan4165 call me a bad server cuz i always spill the tea
Definitely! She was a cultural revolution for drag race.
We love you GreenGay!
Thanks for the love! 💚
I hope she thrives in her future and that she continues being awesome!
i mostly cant rewatch s4 bc sharon is so obnoxious, especially after reading alaskas book (+ recent controversies) i cant stand her
He's an icon, an legend and he is the moment, now come on now
Was listening to Willam beat Jaremi down on Race Chaser - so I went and watched the Untucked Willam was talking about. At one point Phi Phi goes to another room to get away from Willam... and Willam follows her (and continues to antagonize her). Not only did she get an awful edit, queens like Willam continue to stoke the flames. I just hope Jaremi has found peace, because they deserve it!
I will NEVER understand getting mad at a queen for causing drama on the show
A part of me thinks Jaremi on all stars 2 had the idea that in order to come across better she needed to be more helpful to the other girls, so maybe what to her seemed like advice or feedback actually came across as makin the girls doubt themselves, just my two cents, but i dont think it was malicious, like after all the hate she on s4 why would she want to come across as the villain again?
I never thought of it that way, good point 👍🏼
The moment they said they didn’t need rupauls approval in the first episode of untucked it was over. Mama Ru is a Scorpio she wasn’t gonna let that slide 💅
“Tatiana seemingly marches down the stage as if she was about to beat the crap out of her” 😂😂
Am I the only one that thinks Jaremy looks a lot like a young Robert Downey Jr?
Hmmm...no.
I see it!
I mean he looks better to me but okay.
YES
As a huge fan of both Jaremi and RDJ, I have definitely noticed a resemblance
I think she one of the queens that serve as foundation that build the empire of drag race and the biggest sacrificial lamb of the titular villain edit and the wrath of biased fan base
Jaremi Carey is probably the queen that got mistreated the most by the fandom. I think we all owe her an apology
Human beings suck. Jaremi played a character and paid an unnecessary cost for it. I'm glad they have found peace and love for art again.
Jeremy use they pronouns?
@@woodsstocks9178he/him in his bio
jaremi is super talented. it's really cool that he turned his life around after hitting such a low. thanks for revisiting this artist
I’ve always been suuuuuch a big fan of Jaremi and his artistry like wow wow wow what a stellar artist!!!
Jaremi deserves all the love ❤️
Didn’t watch S4 at time of its release, but since my first watching of the season, she was my favorite by far. So talented and creative. She was playing messy on AS2, but was still an icon!
Not only Bob, Rupaul said on his podcast that Phiphi won the lipsync !
WAIT REALLY?? Do u know what episode?
@@GreenGayYT Can't seem to find it, but it was "what the T". Sorry ! Great video btw thank you!
Even though PhiPhi won the lipsync, I doubt they would have sent Sharon purely due to her amazing track record.
@@jasperwellington11sharon wasn’t canceled dawg shes a rapist 😭
Jaremi is an amazing artist and one of the most generous, kind people I have met. So glad more people are seeing this and appreciating his artistry.
A couple notes
-you say about.365 Days of Drag “on Jan1, 2016, Phi Phi O’Hara would rebrand to Jaremi Carey.” Where did you get that idea? The pictures all say Phi Phi O’Hara on them. Plus, there was nothing else at the time that mentioned any rebranding. Regardless, that project was phenomenal and has remained absolutely amazing.
-As noted on the Instagram page you showed, Jaremi uses “he/him/his” pronouns
-The quote that you found where he says he doesn’t mind being called Phi Phi is an older quote.
I would add RuPaul and Michelle Visage too
Sounds like a total nightmare
you dont have to be perfect to deserve respect
This is about to get me through the last hour of work 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
7:33 Not brittany broski give Jaremi dog food
I was looking for this comment 😅😭
JUSTICE FOR PHI PHI O'HARA / PHOENIX O'HARA
I do agree that Jaremi did not deserve all the hate and some of teh situations turned out crazy, but you can't blame everything on the edit. Jaremi's redemption happend in real life I believe when Sharon's real character came out. But I still believe you should just own it when you do or say something.
Met Phi Phi at Richs San Diego and was actually the nicest person
The two-in-one look of Phi Phi is one of the best looks ever to appear on the show.
And in the end, Sharon ended up being the real villain in life
Jaremi so much deserves a 1 hour documentary showcasing talent nad his truth, thank you Green for being that based og dragtuber oit here serving what the queens deserve in recognition when the fans ain't
Love Jaremi, amazing streamer and cosplayer
Honestly I’m ecstatic and very disappointed that people took this long to realize who the actual disgusting person was.
Who? If you're talking about Sharon Needles, we've been knew 🤷♀️
@@eleventyseven3742 girl you can’t be serious yes now we knew and yes maybe we knew back then too but half of us turned a blind eye and half of us didn’t even know or care.

@@moonstoneuniverse8516 have you tried listening to queens of color who have been calling out Sharon for YEARS??? No? Ok yeah thought so
I don’t believe ANYONE deserves the level of hate that Jeremi received BUT no one made Jeremi say the words that they said. They can only twist words so much but the words WERE SAID.
Yeah, her original season was wild! I can’t imagine everything they said being out of context, I mean she literally fought with w/everyone except Latrise!
@@zeej80 that’s what I’m saying, when all the girls are mad at her it’s not go no reason.
7:37 the editing here tickled me so much behfhfjfjfjf
I recall Phi Phi getting a lot of the hate she got because of Detox? She even admitted to it on AS2 when PPOH was discussing how all the hate she got from other queens/the DR fandom, had made her want to quit drag? I believe she became suicidal as well? Detox apologized and admitted to getting the girls together to go after Phi Phi.
Jaremi really never deserved that much hate. I’m so glad to see him doing better and protecting his peace ❤
that "with very questionable 2-in-1 outfits" was why i watch your channel, because that deadpan SHADE?!?! Mwuah. Chef's kiss
Yes good Greengay❤❤ I renember the orginal video 2years ago yes. You videos is good. Thanks bro!😘😘🥳🥳🥳🥳
Jaremi is an ICON and an extremely talented artist. In addition to being philanthropic and just a kind person
Latrice actually called out Sharon a few times for being favored by the judges which was completely true.
I just love him! I always talk to him on twitch and he is such a nice person.
Listen, I fell in love with Phi Phi even more after All Stars 2. You cant deny she said what she said but also you know its a show and its produced that way! Her looks were fire and she was great!!
Just, please go follow Jaremi ! The art is just PERFECTION ❤
I dunno why. But jaremi was always the cutest out of drag
Jaremi not hugging Alyssa will forever be iconic, I honestly would've done the same
Third time watching this video since it’s come out I love learning about Jaremi sm
We definitely need more videos like that, it was an amazing one!
jaremy is so amazing in what he does, i love him
Hi @GreenGayYT! You’re the only Drag Race commentator that totally makes sense. Love you! 🥰
All I (and we) have is love, flowers and rainbows for Jaremi! Love you so much. 😘
I still love that she entered the work man as a literal villain! Genius
It’s crazy that I was looking for that video yesterday and today you uploaded this lol
jaremi’s story makes me so sad, the ‘blame it on the edit’ joke ru does really rubs me the wrong way because the edit can absolutely take a lot of the blame
the fact that the fandom allowed Ru to mistreat Jaremi so much after AS2 paved the way for her mistreatment of The Vixen
30:58 I still can’t get over how they didn’t like Adore’s look. I absolutely loved it!
Jaremi, I love you and I wish you nothing but the best and true happiness. Greetings from Houston, Texas. ❤❤❤
At the end of the day, I’m speaking my truth, I am who I am, whatever the case may be, it’s my journey, and at the end of the day, it’s the night.
I always put your videos on while i work. Thanks for producing amazing content 💚
Man i remember when the 365 days of drag he was doing and when the last day finally came out i remember being gagged that the look was made from all the previous looks!!! So happy for him to be in a better place !!!!
I love Jaremi always & forever!❤
Jaremi is a complicated person. Her shadiness stems from insecurity, but she has a lot of confidence (rightfully so) as an artist and a performer. (365 Days of Drag is c*unt!) I don't think she's a nasty person, but evidently she doesn't play well with others, at least not under the thumb of WOW. I respect that she's willing to call them out on things while acknowledging the opportunities they have afforded her. I find it appalling that anyone-people who don't know her personally-would threaten to throw acid in her face. (It would be even more disgraceful-albeit unlikely-for anyone who _does_ know her to do so.)
new vid and its a long one? yessssssssssssss
I see Green Gay video - I like it. And watch it afterwards. ❤
All the love to Jaremi and FUCK the people who went out of their way to send him hate and threats. NO ONE deserves that for appearing on reality TV
You really messed me up with Brittany Broski giving Phi Phi dog food. I really thought that was a thing. I had to google it!
I honestly think Phi Phi was one of the best contestants on the show ever.
This! He made All Star season 2 the best season ever
