The RV looks really comfortable and spacious. Looking forward to seeing your new adventures.
You said the engine gets warmer when in the climbing. I recommend that you clean your radiator. Hose or pressure wash the radiator get the dirt out from between the fins. Two reasons one probably never been done second the dust you just sucke up into it from this trip. It might help big time with the temp getting hot.
I have to say Steph had me laughing when she said this toilet has a Bum Gun!!!!!!!😁 Soon as she said that my inner Bevis and Butthead came out. Overall a very nice setup and it looks to be in fantastic shape for the age and like Bobby mention 58k miles on it is nothing for that motor. I will enjoy watching the new adventures to come with this RV.
I'd love to hear a comparison of living in the RV vs. living on a boat. A lot of things are similar.
WOW, a rolling Penthouse, best of luck and safe travels to you both. Peace.
I love this RV
You work hard you deserve as good as it gets and this is like new
Great tours both of you
Thanks for sharing ❤
I would move tools to the starboard side storage. If ever needed the access is safer not being on the traffic side along the highway especially with a door that size sticking out. 😊
Wonderful life and time you are having together as a couple. Will be remembered fondly for years I am sure.
The 'curb side' or 'street side' is 'RV Speak' for Port and Starboard. Curbside is the side the 'house door' opens up on. The street side is the side that usually has all the hookup connections for electric, potable, grey & black water.
Also: If you haven't already... Invest in a shore power pole surge spike protector. Campgrounds are notoriously bad with regulated power and voltage at the shore power poles.
The PPF has failed on the front of the body of the RV. A heat gun will be your friend with a plastic spatula/scraper to get the PPF off.
Nice upgrade, Makes for a better ride and all the comforts of home.
Hi Bobby from Malta 🇲🇹 I am so happy for you too i love watching your channel
Thanks for the tour Bobby and Steph !!…….
I have the FD model, 400 cummins 4 slide. If you ever have any questions, hit me up. BTW, the air in the front is for a towing. It allows a tow truck to air up the bags for transport.
That’s good to know some people have been telling me it’s good for toys like tires and their air floater toys nice to know he actually has an actual use
Looks like a great floor plan. The clear coat is an issue on many RV's that had this applied. As you probably know, there are some companies that remove it. The tank fills also allow you to fill up from both sides at the same time. Something I wish I had for my 150G tank. Maveriks out west here have truck/RV islands that provide this feature. Having sailed (not very well) before getting an RV, I still call the RV parking places a slip!
Try pressure washing the radiator. All the dirt roads pack them with debris. I work on pusher school busses and when they get hot we wash the radiator and it usually improves a lot.
Bobby/Steph...Congrats on the upgrade...quite a step up from the Class-C... best of luck w/ it
Congratulations. Yours looks almost exactly like my 2005 Journey 39k. We just bought that last March and put 10k miles on it already. We LOVE it. Just got back from Freightliner in Gaffney, SC from it's service. The previous owners took ours there every year. Came out with a clean bill of health and we did the 60K service plus I asked for the tranny to be serviced. Anyway, we love ours a lot and are planning a cross country trip next summer. Safe travels!!
That's a pretty slick toy you two have!! Tons of room, nice kitchen and bathroom. Who needs hotels any more???!!! Let's git'er on the road and make some more videos!!!
Bit chilly out ? Nice coach, very nice.
Congrats on the upgrade. I would say you needed the extra space! safe travels.
Awesome Steph and Bobby!!
wow that's travelling in style great tour simply amazing indeed
Very Nice...my wife and i are on our second Winnebago now...looking forward to watching the videos...i watch this and the sailing channel
Congrats!! I love when Bobby uses boat terms. As a former three decades boater it just flows right out. Enjoy it.
Beautiful RV. Steph is perfect, as usual.
Good for you guys! We also bought a 'new for us' gently used diesel pusher. Same basic floor plan. Cat diesel, diesel gen. We have both the heat pump basement air/heat, and 2 roof mount heat/ac units, for Texas summers! Can't wait to see some of your travels.
Those are nice. Built like a tank, I had a 2007 Ellipse 40 FD we bought new and it was great for 13 yrs. Now we have a 2020 Horizon 42 Q
Congratulations on the new rig
Very nice RV. Enjoy your travels safely. 👍🇺🇸🚜
Super awesome my friend! There is nothing like cruising through those canyons in a class A. With that huge windshield you're literally in a movie!🏞
Awesome video by my camping friend's Bobby and Stephanie.
Nice!..very happy for you guys...safe travels...
You've got the great life going on!! Land or Sea!!👍💗
Wow you guys are styling and profiling, very nice RV.
I like your R V and looking forward to seeing alot of videos from your travels
Thank you.
Nice headlights
Congratulations, drive and enjoy in good health 🎉
Nice rig Bobby. We’ll preserved for a 2004. Somebody really took care of it. Better than your parent’s old RV. Quite the upgrade. Good Luck, 👍 happy trails, and I will subscribe if I haven’t done ✅ yet.
Awesome! Thanks so much!!
Make sure your draining your air tanks when you get fuel. And stay on top of the air dryer filter. If you fail to drain the air tanks your system will hydro lock and your brakes won’t work it the tanks fill up. Or the tanks will rust out.
This Winnebago is better looking than many apartments people live in.
Thank you
Congratulations
It’s the same size of your New Boat.
Love the rv.
NICE ESCAPE TO NATURE 👍
Looks great, nice pick!
Very nice! Let's just hope the the powers that be don't get their way and double the price of diesel.
That camper looks new. It appears to have been well taken care of
Nice pair on the lady in pink
Hello Bobby and Steph , use a heat from heat gun possibly hair dryer to remove PPF (paint protection film preserves paint bugs rocks road film etc.) front of vehicle
any of the national parks Denver to West coast tetons and grand canyon red rocks desert few famous places hotels in Co canada, south america
Great looking RV- I hope the roof is in great shape😳Winnebago has a bad reputation for their roofs leaking- keep a close eye on it
Mirrored wardrobes in the bedroom are great fun 👍👌😜😂
I build a bracket and put a flat TV in the middle above.
Looks fantastic
Basement air is nice
Have you tried to remove the front plastic with a heat gun?
How many berths would a boat of that size have! Definitely more of a mobile apartment.
I used to sell these back in 2004-2005.
Just a reminder always carry a spare water pump. ENJOY THE MILES AHEAD
Hey Bobby great upgrade! Does this mean you are giving away the class C as previously posted?! Lets get in touch
I had the same unit
Upgraded the RV, now its time to upgrade the companion
👍☑ Great upgrade guys!
Just here for the thumbnail pic .
Bobby, The class C did you give it away to a Patron or sell it? Take care be safe!
So you did give the other RV away....as a trade in LOL
Great job Guys....a really sweet upgrade! In looking at the market, there are plenty of these on sale for reasonable prices. I'm curious about your experience with diesel fuel mileage. Also, what are the requirements for a drivers license, is some version of a CDL required? Oh and Steph....you look spectacular in pink!
Unfortunately RVs don't require a CDL. Just a regular license, thanks to AARP. Some of these Class As are driven towing a large trailer to carry an SUV etc, and are longer than a typical trailer truck. I wish the feds didn't cave to the AARP on this. Anything that big takes some skill to move around and needs to be a CDL B at a minimum.
What is the fuel consumption like?
I have a Country Coach same year with the 350hp version of that Cummins ISC and I get a little over 8mpg without towing a vehicle or 6.9 with a Toad.
you said that you were going to give away the other motor home, what happened to that?
Did you have all that stuff in your old motor home ?
How is this for maneuvering around? Boondocking? Great space but when I think of getting a class A I have concerns about the size.
I guess you can call the wash down for the toilet a bum gun, but it's there because RV toilets don't hold water in them so you can use that nozzle to wash down any remnants from going to the bathroom down the drain.🤣
That, the Vectra, isn’t an RV, it’s a mobile house on wheels.
Steam it off with a hairdryer
I saw a video where you were in Mexico, but I heard diesel in Mexico does not meet US standards. What say you?
Weren't you supposed to give away the old RV?
You also need three stage water filters.
What can I say? 😃😍
Sir Bob. Nice rig but could you like um you know, coach your lovely lady...a little
Bobby, again watched too much of Casey Neistat
Don't take this the wrong way....Winnebago motor homes of that era have huge roof Delamination issues. The roofs end up sagging and the slides won't work. See UA-cam creator AZexpert. I have seen three videos of him fixing them in Arizona. Cheers
For a 2004, someone took SUPREME care of it. There's hardly any sign of any wear & tear, and it looks like everything works!! 👍👍👍
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet… but if you’re temperature guage starts climbing you probably need to clean the radiator. I’m a CATERPILLAR diesel truck technician (for the past 20 years)and all the diesel pushers with rear mounted radiators have the same problem. The road debris kicked up starts to face plug the radiator the side closest to the engine fan (especially the lower corners). You can spray degreaser into the cooling fins from the rear of the RV, then also pressure wash from the same side to help blow the debris out of the fins towards the engine. Should help keep your engine temperature down. Also check the water pump belt tension and condition. Kind of a pain to manually adjust, and flip it inside out to get it over the harmonic balancer if you need to change it.
Thank you
Very nice Bobby and Steph, Good luck and happy trails.
What a nice RV, happy for you guys! Thanks for the great tour, you two!
Good job by Steph on the tour, so confident !
Wow what a Jewel! Only 53000 miles. Just a baby getting started. Cook outside as much as you can if for no other reason than that's what camping is about and it keeps your rig smelling nice. Don't cook air born grease items like meats and oils in the rig. It will coat everything. I love your documentary style you and Steph do at the places you go. Your call on weather you want to become an RV camping expert or not. My Wife and I are RVers for 48 years and we like just drinking, cooking and visiting outdoors. Yes the magic of RV's and camping. Good luck with that new Rig. It's a dandy.
Great tour both of you. Exciting way to see the world.
congrats on the new rig. May y'all have safe travels and many amazing adventures.
Wow..first Like...That RV is AWESOME, congrats guys!!!....so beautiful and comfortable...seems like a Dark Side on wheels to me....Steph's "for those people who need a fan" at 15:44 was priceless ha ha....but didn't see the golf clubs..where are they....ha ha ....again congrats guys you deserve an RV like that....love you both!! take care...
Knock knock Who's there? RV. RV who? RV there yet?
I rent storage where a lot of rv's are, owners tell me never to buy a new one. Let someone else work out all the bugs for a couple years and then buy it!
Not that it should matter, but I am so glad to see that things between Stephanie and you are working. She is delightful (not to mention hot and pretty) and you are......well, you. Hope that things continue to work well and wish the best for you two. The RV is definitively a step up from the other one, I am sure that a capable dude like you will be able to keep up with the maintenance these behemoths require. By the way, I sort of felt cheated because Steph did not do the walk through in a bikini😉
Nice rig! My brother has a 2004 Horizon with very similar layout and we have traveled in it many times. You guys like to bring a lot of stuff, and when you bring a lot of stuff you NEED a Class A.
That plastic is a clear wrap...it protects the paint from rocks and bugs...should get it replaced
That is just toooooooo cool! Its amazing that even though it is a 18 yr old unit, it still is current and somewhat ahead of its time.......
Nice touch doing cross-promotion of Sailing Doodles on the big screen!!!
I like that, "This is Bobby's side; he has more room and storage here and I use it too."
Not trying to be a buzz kill I love your videos, but you need to have your roof inspected by someone who knows Winnebago's laminated roof, It is clearly delaminating and it's strength is in the lamination process. Unless you already know about it. Keep the great videos on all your channels coming. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Yeah didn’t have time to get that addressed at the last place I had work done. It’s on the list
AZ Expert has some good videos on the roof and radius. Congrats on the new rig.
Definitely get the roof looked at. A friend had his come off during his drive to Arizona last fall in the high winds. Costs $10,000 to fix.
