Lohengrin O Sometimes I think that GOD blessed the black race @ so many levels MUSIC, SPORTS ETC. Because GOD knew that they would suffer grievously throughout
history of mankind. I am so glad thst my parents were not racist in any way. I have several black friends other friends of other nationalities and races there are only 3 races black Caucasian mongoloid. It is man that created prejudice/ racism. It is a satanic mentality that will plagued mankind. I read an article on the internet about DNA testing and it stated that most caucasians have black blood in them they just don't know it. I found this very true in this regard as to my Caucasian friends that did DNA testing as well. My wife and I both have black blood running through our veins. I am 5% from Mali my wife is 4% from Sudan. I have shared that information with my friends and they were intrigued by the entire article Etc. She did it to me again. She is responsible for my love of opera. Almost 40 years ago I was 14, I had no idea about opera. I thought opera singing was the jackal screaming. Then I heard her singing the aria "Tacea la Notte Placida" on an old gramophone record. Her voice touched high tones, I was shocked by the beauty of her voice "My God, who is she? She's fantastic! Leontyne Price". She got me. It's still the same, I am still shocked hearing her. She is not a soprano, she is a hunting weapon. Once she gets you, it is forever.

@@LohengrinOyou are deaf. Pity you. You have missed the flawless technique, the incredible breath control, the restrained emotion, the hitting of the centre of the sound with unfailing accuracy (incredibly difficult and achieved by very few) and the fact she doesn't appear to have any bridges (moving from one octave to another) or she does have them but has learned to disguise them superbly. Talking about octaves, she has 4 and equally strong in all of them (fantastically rare) she is a mezzo, dramatic and collaratura soprano all in one. That's before we talk about the beauty, strength, purity depth and breath of that incredible sound. She had it all! And you missed it all.
