Thanks for video. I would really like to know the best (preferably free) way to post my completed virtual tours to google maps or GMB
Thoroughly enjoyed this video! Plenty of useful and valuable tips. I also noted the overall jump in production value and overall quality of this video! Keep it up!
Streetview Studio only allows Videos... Not Images.
And on Google Maps, you can't place it at a specific location... Just tie it to a business or PIN....
This sucks. I used to be able to drop a photosphere wherever I wanted, and view in my VR Headset but this is no longer the case :(
I haven't tried it yet, but according to an online post, you can still have the blue dots showing at the right coordinates by using Bluestack on PC. Let us know if this works.
For some reason maps doesn't think my photos are 360 😑
Most likely you edited your photosphere in a photo editor that removed the crucial data that indicates the photo is equirectangular. You need to add that back in by using an EXIF editor. Search for it online for your OS.
Also, if you've posted the bad 360 image, please delete that before reposting.
Your photos must contain the correct metadata with the line for equirectangular set as True. Search for Adding 360 Pano metadata to image.
Same
You probably lost the metadata that contains the required command for equirectangular. Please check it on an EXIF editor.
Same problem
Cool info. My questions are: How do I take those pictures 360 to showcase my house? I have Android. Also, once I upload my panoramic image to the google map, how do I delete it if I use google map to upload it? Is it possible to upload it from my pc? Thanx
Presently the only way to create a tour on Google is like the video said, use a 360 camera like Insta360 X3, make a video, then upload it to SV Studio on your PC. There's no more linking of photospheres to create tours, period.
Hi,
Thanks for the videos, i have a question:
In your previous video you said it takes 2-3 hours to upload the tour. if i want to upload 10 different businesses in one single evening is that possible using a matterrport? can they upload together seperately? i just have to pay $15 per business but i can do it all in one night if i already have the photoshoots done
is google making the new street view app update ?
The SV app is officially dead in 2023 so there will be no more updates. As for the SV Studio on PC (not an app), I highly doubt they will resume photospheres upload.
An incredibly informative and helpful video! Some nice alternatives to utilizing Google Street View Studio here!
How do I upload a photo or street-view image for a location that doesnt exist? Like on a hike or something? (It has no name or icon on a map, just a random one on a nature trail)
You can try to create a new POI (Place of Interest) by right clicking on the map.
I am big fan and student from india .I want to learn google trested photography completly .how to learn it Please help me
If you're on a budget, start with Rogeti Pano 5+1 Mark II. Or to use any low cost action camera, study the method of Rogeti and apply it on a normal tripod. To see some samples, look up Relau House on the map, scroll down for photos.
Great video Sean👍
But how do you take a 360 photo - I need a full walk through with screen share and apps etc
you need a 360 camera like insta360 cam
