- the sequel ✌ full disclosure, i'm not as familiar with World Tour as i am with the original Trolls for the simple reason that i did not like it as much, so there is every chance i missed some pining Branch somewhere in here.

5:29 I love how Poppy's face absolutely lights up after he confesses. It's easy to think it was mostly one-sided and Poppy reciprocated later but she genuinely started to fall for him from the first movie.
I think even from the beginning she saw something, why did she care so suspiciously much about him being at the party. Why dose she keep inviting him to party after party still talking to him even after what he said and did to her in the first scene and how rude he was. Also why did she force branch to help her after they were attacked. She could have asked anyone else yet she desperately tried to get branch even after all he’d done.

For me, I think ever since trolls in first movie. Branch already likes poppy. You see how he cares about poppy. How he smiles at poppy. How he keeps all poppy's invitation and smile at it. How branch got jealous whenever poppy mentions creek. You'll noticed it if you rewatch the first movie.

Tbh I feel like that would be too fast, they only JUST got together at the end of the 2nd movie, give it some time.

I think Branch is actually quite a few years older than Poppy. In the flashback scene where his grandmother was taken by Chef, he was at least three or four. And in the beginning, Poppy is a literal baby. And we don't know how much time has passed between those two instances, so make of that what you will.
True, consider during the 1st movie poppy would be around 20, and branch would be between 23 and 25
But you really dont notice this stuff among adults cause idk
I actually think they’re pretty close in age. We were never explicitly told When Grandma Rosiepuff died; just that a Bergen grabbed her while Branch was distracted with singing. BUT, if they still lived in the Troll Tree with the ever present threat of Trollstice (spelling?) why would Branch Or Grandma Rosiepuff be outside on that day of all days??
Branch’s fear of Bergens finding their new home isn’t just paranoia. It’s ALREADY HAPPENED once. I think that Bergen found them After the great escape, and I think That’s why Branch was so terrified of it happening again. (I think they spent more than a few months/years being nomadic before they finally felt safe enough to settle in Pop Village.)
Actually with the third movie coming out I think it’s the opposite, since Branch was apart of Brozone as a baby (maybe 1-2 years old trolls seem to mature quicker) and Poppy said she was a huge fan of them before they broke up so she would’ve had to been old enough to even have favorite bands so maybe 2-4, either way, 20 years passed since the evacuation of the Troll Tree so they’re both adults in their early 20s during the movie series anyway, Branch just looks older than he is lol
