@Jarmoparmo L. Yoi just reminded me of an old Bat in the Sun video. Spidey Vs Maul. Look it up. It's good. Also I'd love to see a Marvel cross over with SW since they make SW comments anyway just to see how Spidey would duel with a saber.
@@bevvvy1374 most people try to have cool 1v1s as we all want a 1v1 mode... But then there are people who do "play as intended" which is to just WIN... but its just Abit scummy to 2v1 or 4v1 someone...I guess you're one of those players...

Especially when you get stuck with lousy teammates that don’t understand the basics of sticking together as a unit, a group is much stronger then an individual. And I often found myself in 4v1 scenario because of this, but when I am put into a capable team, HvV can be fun, but most of the time it’s just you vs the whole team.

I’d be pretty miffed if I got glitch-killed when I was actually practicing a fighting system whereas the opponent is just abusing. But for the record... 😏 How do you do it? I’m thinking I’ll use it to counter gank-cancer.
right when i thought you couldn't get anymore helpful, you go ahead and teach me, a veteran player, stuff i haven't even thought about before. great job man, keep up the good work.
this actually helped me a lot. i already knew some of the pro moves like parrying and back dodging, but when i get 2v1 it is mostly from blaster+saber vs me, or just two noobs who think targeting me will get something done
If your dealing with a tough Luke remember that you can parry him when he does that spin attack. It essentially takes that move out of the fight since he'll get damaged every time he uses it. Timing is kinda tough tho. Also if you're fighting a stubborn iden then ray is the way. Use the mind trick thing followed by a swing then dash then swing etc. She'll never be able to keep track of you. Vader also has a good combo where you choke, approach, jump swing ,then light saber throw.
Same thing with Maul. Most Maul players just block and spam the spin attack. It's super easy to parry the spin attack. Another good trick against Iden although it's a little risky if teammates are nearby, is charge at Iden normally and get 2 swings in then immediately jump high in the air. 99% of Iden's will try to use the stun droid after your second swing during their dodge roll, so when it stuns you you'll be in the air out of harms way.
Daniel DK Maul hits faster if u swing after dodging forward or backwards rather than left or right, for Dooku it’s right & backwards, (changes w/ duelist) kylo is only slow dodging left, Luke is faster left & back, Obi is fast forward & left, Rey is only slow to the left, Yoda is slowest backwards & fastest forwards, Ani is fast right & foward, Vader is faster left, & Grievous has the same swing every direction, but its always with his right arm so dodging left is less likely to get behind someones block. Its worth remembering this if u want to dodge behind someone’s block & hit them in time before they can turn & face you
How are you so good at avoiding the "stumble"? There are several moments in the video where someone would strike you from the side and you wouldn't go through that weird trip animation that leaves you open.
For reals. I've never heard this mechanic covered in a video. It's almost like a stun punch. Even if you're holding block the whole time you still get hit.
@@gamerkiller6487 The problem though is he claims that it's where your camera is pointed. I've had plenty of deaths from the stumble even when getting attacked just from the front with my camera perfectly facing them. It happens at the most BS times.
@@LeeEverett1 I have learned more about this feature. You can only be stumbled while getting hit at a certain angle from your camera. I believe what you said about getting hit with your camera facing them. That's happened to me a couple of times, but I think it's due to lag. They hit you from that angle but because of lag, you don't see it. It mostly happens to me when I'm being attacked by multiple attackers. So that makes it easier to get mixed up in all the lag.
Yeah, now I can deal with players that glue themselves together, most of the time I try to separate them but some players are VERY persistent in staying with buddies, not that I can blame them for that tho
I just did a hero showdown with Grevious vs Luke and Obi wan while trying out these tips. I kept my enemies in front of me, since i knew that luke was the most offensive one, obi wan was sitting back regenerating hp, so i suspended luke from the fight so i could get obi wan out of the way. i stunned luke 2 times with thrust surge and claw rush but then he pushed me down BUT then i got back up, he hit me once, and then i parried his last hit, killing him. Thanks for these awesome and informational vids, keep up the good work! Edit: it was 2 to 1 i basically killed myself in round one, because i did not want to a be a hero the game picked for me, the 2nd round was just a 2v2, and in round 3 is what i just told u :). Also the map was Naboo so they couldve used environmental kills to thier advantage, but these guys were nice enough to fight in the hangar.

Thanks. Yeah, i realised explaining this is not like a tips and tricks vid. Have to try and balance the technical stuff with the gameplay. Too much text and it becomes too much to read, but too little text and people won’t take anything away. And not every situation will be the same, so there is no linear path to follow. This is more just like a loose guide to remember if someone ends up in a similar situation

Another tip is to keep a general idea of their ability cooldowns. Knowing when they're on cooldown will give you openings of when you can be more aggressive

its worth remembering what direction to dodge if you want a faster or wider swing, it’s different for every hero
