Half-Assed Guitar Covers Series, Episode 1: SSD / SS DECONTROL "Boiling Point" (1982)

Here's the deal. I'm just some middle-aged dude who has played drums in a few notable bands. I've played drums in every band I've ever been in except 2- in those bands, I played bass guitar. The point being- I'm a drummer, so it's pretty incredible that I can even show up anywhere with both my shoes on, let alone learn other instruments. Judge accordingly.
I started goofing off with guitars in my teens, but never learned to play beyond a pretty rudimentary Ramones level. Maybe some generic metal riffs. A couple years ago, a friend gave me a vintage SG copy and I became obsessed with it and it re-sparked my interest in guitar. Over the last couple years, I've learned more than I did in the few decades before that (but I am still, by no means, a "good" guitarist.) I have no formal instruction and learn anything I try to play by ear. You real guitarists can feel free to roast me or tell me what I'm doing wrong. Also, I will provide some bad notes, free of charge, for your listening pleasure in some of these videos. It's part of my charm. Enjoy.
