Elder Scrolls, especially Skyrim, is the soundtrack to our home. It plays almost constantly throughout our home. My husband and I sleep to one of a few nighttime tracks. It gives our home an air of mystery and magic.
Me and my girlfriend sleep to it as well, its very comfy and it gives the same vibes to my room when we’re together, it feels like I’m in Skyim with her.
Skyrim changed my life. I grew up in the desert but every time someone asked me what's my dream home, a cabin in the woods has always been my first answer. I felt more at home in the game than in reality sometimes. When I can't sleep I turn on the music.
Same my parents are from Canada grew up in Utah. Very nice here but I want to go where a lot of my ancestry just so happens to be from, in Sweden. Small humble house outside of Gothenburg just wait haha 😁
I listen to this every morning. And all of you who are reading this right now, I know it's a hard time. but keep pushing on! Don't give up. life isn't perfect, but some moments are better than others
I have so many memories tied to Skyrim and this ambience really triggered a lot of them. Add the fact that it's midnight here and raining heavily, it's really tugging me back to that world. I will give you an example of one such memory I had with Skyrim and the sheer amount of immersion that I experienced. I started a new game with the alternate start mod and I played with no UI or HUD. The game dropped me in the pitch black forest, with dense trees and only a couple of dead bodies around me. The only light I could see was from whatever was reflected off of Nirn's two moons. I'm trying to look around for any like source or light or bearings, only able to see maybe 5ft in front of me. The wind is howling lowly in the night and the insects are abuzz. As I'm venturing further away from where I first began, I see some faint shadows and movement but I hear almost everything. Heavy footfalls and impacts of a lycanthrope knocking away some humanoid and then just a very blood curdling howl into the empty night. I immediately drop down and lower my silhouette. I know very well that I am not prepared for this peril. I back away slowly but I'm still quite the novice and moving conspicuously. I see two piercing yellow eyes in the dark and the outline of a massive, hulking form just turn towards me. I don't even think twice. I'm fucking running the other direction nevermind that I can't see shit. As I'm running, I can just hear the creature behind me getting closer and then all of a sudden I'm launched like several feet forward by one his claw attacks. My body is struggling to get up but does so eventually and I keep booking it, out of stamina. After continuing to run in the opposite direction for what feels like lifetimes, I immediately freeze. I hear the primal and beastial breathing of a wolf and I see its head just staring at me with its bared fangs and glowing eyes in the darkness. I'm frozen solid thinking in my head "I cant even fight a fucking wolf off. I have nothing on me". But even as I'm standing there, I realize I'm still not being attacked by this wolf and I'm genuinely puzzled. For a second I thought my game was bugged. But I noticed a little past the wolf standing in front of me, a faint glimmer of yellow light. I begin to approach it slowly and encounter an orc, just camping out here by his lonesome. His camp is built into some sort of ruin so it conceals the fire a bit but I also happen to notice another wolf also guarding this orc. I talk to the guy and he tells me some long winded story of what he's doing out here and how someone in his past betrayed him and he's out to put a arrow in their chest. Anyways, this allows me to make his acquaintance and he let's me sleep in a bedroll with the safety of a warm fire. Thankfully, the werewolf was nowhere to be found when I woke up to a clear sunny day in game. The orc was an NPC added by the Interesting NPCs mod and this all happened somewhere near the forests in Falkreath, I think south of the lake. Anyways hope someone enjoyed this little snippet of my adventure.
That was beautifully written! I experienced it right alongside you. A scary start, but what a way to feel alive in the (game) world! Thank you for sharing.
It’s strange how homesick I get for Skyrim, over any other fantasy world or media I’ve enjoyed. I always come back to it in times of need, like coming home after a long day.

I will be fine. I am in control. Hey man, I wish you the best for life. You're a person who deserves nothing but love, a peaceful life and good luck with everything you want to achieve. Thank you for this wonderful comment. Stay safe!
You put a lot of thought into this post, I honestly can't hate. I normally feel hollow when an internet stranger says they love me, but I get the feeling you actually care. So to you, thanks, and make sure you take time for yourself too. It can be very emotionally taxing to care for as many people as you can, and very easy to neglect yourself in the process. It's a cruel irony, but depression is common with people that try to make everyone else happy. Just remember that you deserve happiness too.
@Ana Vargas B. I would never claim people are all the same. But when I say emotionally taxing, I'm not just talking about emotion but also about the time and energy and sometimes resources that comes along with those emotions. One leads to the other. For example, the person I replied to spent time, energy, and thought writing that post. That's time, energy, and thought they weren't spending on themselves. If you stretch yourself too thin, it's easy to forget to take care of yourself. You can increase your capacity sure, but you can never make everyone happy. Also the part about depression wasn't just the idea that these behaviors could cause depression, but that depression can also lead to these behaviors. If you know what a life without joy is like, you may be motivated to help others not feel the same way, and because you know what it's like, you know how to relate and often how to help people in your shoes. Also, sometimes people feel like they don't deserve happiness for whatever reason. Pedro might live a perfectly happily life but maybe someone else reading these comments will benefit. I feel like it's still worth bringing up just in case. The hollow feeling is another matter altogether, but that's another discussion for another day and place.

In both Skyrim and Elder Scrolls there night time music pieces that were so beautifully ethereal and calming. The only times I can recall feeling that calm was when I walked either of my two babies to sleep in the middle of the night. I could hear the quiet sounds outside the house, see the stars through the windows, and feel them snug in my arms. I would do that for hours. Even though it's been a couple decades, the music makes me feel like I am there again. Peaceful.

I can't possibly explain how much inspiration this single video has brought me. A year later, I'm still listening to it as I write. This video was the basis of plotline inspiration for my most recent novel, and as an author, plot lines don't come very easily! Thank you so much for this.
I have also found so much inspiration in this video, along with a few others on the channel. As a fantasy author, it's hard to find music that isn't always loud, "epic" and trailer-like. Sometimes you need something a little more chill and this is perfect! Good luck with your novel!

@@angiedilaj Yes, when I found these ambient tracks while trying to find something relaxing to study to, I added so many HP and LOTR songs to my playlist it'll take me forever to actually listen to them all but still haha. Not to mention a few others her POTC, Hunger Games, Elder Scrolls/Skyrim ones, the Avengers ones. I've been listening to them while studying and it's so nice and nostalgic for me and makes me so happy. I play them loud enough to be heard in the living room where my hubby is as well lol.
The game is absolutely fantastic, but a fair warning if you haven't played any of the previous ones you'll miss a lot of Easter eggs and references. The game is absolutely massive and I always go back and try a different kind of character, and that's not even if you consider creation club content, or mods which are free. Trust me your in for a wild ride. I hope you enjoy it if you decide to take the plunge.
I absolutely recommend it!! There are so many things to do and places to see and it is great for making stories as well! Definitely a good game! I also recommend to get the DLCs Hearthfire and Dragonborn which add a lot of great stuff to the game as well!

I’ve played Skyrim ever since I was ten years old, and ever since it has held a very special place in my heart. I listen to this and the soundtrack itself during revision sessions, going to sleep or just relaxing in my room. I’m a massive home bird and get homesick from sleepovers, but whenever I do feel this way I listen to this beautiful soundtrack or play the game itself because Skyrim really does make me feel at home. Whiterun hold or the rift especially, I can’t explain it. Although Todd Howard is a sleezy man, i owe him and Jeremy soule a lot.
I realized that I’ve been listening to these soundtracks for almost 7years, since Skyrim first released. Now I have a hard time sleeping and ambient sound help sleep easier. Thank you for this post!
This is the best mix to help me fall asleep. I've been struggling with insomnia for many a year now, twenty two to be exact, and listening to this in my dark bedroom puts me under in five minutes or less.

I think there’s something special about Skyrim that we who love the game share a mutual understanding of; there are no words for it and it’s impossible to put your finger on, but this game will likely always be my favorite game of all time. Skyrim is almost deeper than a game to me, when I listen to the soundtrack to relax and wind down at night it takes me right back to all the times playing this game late at night in peaceful silence and all the fond memories that come with it. Very few other games have given me the same feeling Skyrim does, Red Dead 2 and GTA IV/V being Several of them.

How does this channel not have 1M+ yet. This channel is background music to my house!
Same! The Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings ones are always echoing through our household 🙌
The Elder Scrolls Skyrim was such an amazing game!
*IS such an amazing game! XD
Ok I’ve never played Skyrim but it’s always looked good and recently have been looking at it- anyone recommend by chance?
Play it. You will not regret it. It's a fun ass grind and adventure
100% recommend for anyone and everyone
I totally recommend it! Do play with some graphic texture mods though, it does a lot to enhance the scenery!
I'm an assessor and I always listen to this whilst I analyse apprentices work. Gives me a relaxing focus ❤️
I got a lot of work done today because of this music. :)
This music reminds me of a life I've never had
But a Life we lived over 100 times!
This will be the perfect video after the holiday of Eid al-Adha.. What a perfect time also 1:00AM 👌.
@@masteroogway9613 Aaay you too my brother🧡 I hope you the best this year.
Eid Mubarak
@@norahsalem156 علينا وعليكم بالخير واليمن والبركات 🙏
Weird how the ultimate holiday for Muslims is when Abraham almost sacrifices his son. Why wouldn't it be for something more grand or more special? Like Mohammed riding the Golden Chariot to heaven or something 😂 You all need Jesus. He is Lord of all, He is Allah, is is God Almighty, He is God incarnate, He is God made flesh, He is the Spirit that binds us to God through the Holy Spirit. Praise be to Yeshua/Jesus!
Couldn't disagree
Not fair Maestro! I was about to put on Hagrid’s Hut, which I do pretty much every night, and saw this. Beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your artistry❣️🎁🎨🎬🎼💖
I 💘 Hagrid's Hut too!

And here I am, yet again, studying for my exams, struggling and fighting my way through, and this music is guiding my way. Thank you.
Your channel is like therapy to me. I’m on my second book using this as my soundtrack.
"Tundra" has always been my favorite song on the Skyrim OST and I stand by that until the day I die. thanks for coming to my ted talk
Love the music in Elder Scrolls.
I realized that I’ve been listening to these soundtracks for almost 7years, since Skyrim first released. Now I have a hard time sleeping and ambient sound help sleep easier. Thank you for this post!
i wrote too much software with this in the background, thank you so much !
This is the best mix to help me fall asleep. I've been struggling with insomnia for many a year now, twenty two to be exact, and listening to this in my dark bedroom puts me under in five minutes or less.
Oh my goodness greatness has been made today never stop man ur the best yiutuber for any music
I am very excited for this. Think a Mandalorian ambiance would be cool too 💕
More Skyrim music? Yes yes YESSS! Looking forward to this one!
My wife and I have fallen asleep to this for over a year now.
Thankyou for helping to dorky girls sleep peacefully.
Longing to play Skyrim, and instead I'm stuck with studying. This is so good to help me get through all the theory and maths and whatnot, so thank you very much!!!
That is it, time to go play Skyrim again, its been years now :)
This music brings back so many memories from my thousands of hours I have since I started to play this game back in 2011 during university time. How time flies.
I've just started working third shift at a call center so I can finish my degree, get a salaried job, and get married. This channel is helping me churn through those long, 8-hour shifts. Thank you so much!
I have come to this video (and others) several times during assignments and other work. It calms me, helps me focus, and makes me forget that time is passing. I am grateful every time I remember to find this video because, time and again, it has smoothed my anxiety and made arduous tasks seem more surmountable. (It helps that I am pretty familiar with the Elder Scrolls series.)
Thank you, Ambient Worlds!!
I love the moon moving near before the 5 hour mark, really cool detail
I became a very happy Patreon member today. Usually it's the Lord of the Rings stuff that I keep playing but today I went with Elder Scrolls, and it inspired me to take the plunge! Thank you so much for your brilliant, wonderful content.
Thanks for another Elder Scrolls video! I have been listening to your videos for almost 2 years, this one will be another frequent listen (along with the HTTYD, Narnia and HP)!
One of the best elder scrolls videos I’ve heard 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for helping me sleep at night. I can't stand a night where I can hear sounds of cars and trucks coming by my apartment.
I am sleeping better than usual.
Thank you. May your studies go well, may your sleep be full, and may your thoughts dim for tonight. 💙🌌💜🐺
Beautiful music and scenery! 💜💜💜
Found my new study music! :)
Wow! So beautiful, a poignant bliss!
this is my favorite ever. skyrim has always been my favorite video game and this is so perfect for studying. i love itttt!!
Good music. Thank you!
I’m so glad for this . Making “ dreams “ envisioning with the music . Thank you.
Here time is night 3:40am.... But still I am listening 😍😍😊😊, so peaceful and calm... Thanks 😊😍
Thanks for making these videos. Honestly, this is so comforting and relaxing for me. As much as I would love to be in the world of skyrim, I have put it away as I work on college and build up my finances, and I miss this game so badly...But I know if I get it out I will play it for hours and hours haha. Thanks for making the next best thing for me as I write my essays and such.
Blessed are those with projectors that play and watch this every night then dose to sleep.
Some of the most beautiful music ever composed. Absolutely lovely music. Thanks for posting this -happy adventuring everybody! See you in Cyrodil soon. For the Queen! ~Avalorian
Thanks for the vid, somehow this music helps me focus
Wow listening at Brahm mahurat... Thank you feel like God with me but I am missing my partner we both like this kinda music. Wherever he is in India or abroad.... stay happy and blessed. Love you always.
God bless! I love your message.
*Lovely atmosphere! So relaxing. My brain loves this!* 💚 💙 💜
Thank you in advance for this video, i am sure it will be a master piece like all of your previous ones.
I stumbled on your channel through recommendations & I do not regret it. This music still brings peace to my mind without having to load up Skyrim. I’ve fallen asleep to some of your music. It’s great stuff, thank you for your uploads bro
Thank you so much ❤️
I love your channel listen to these to help me sleep and study would love to see more Harry Potter and Narnia content 💞
First 250 hours in Oblivion on the Xbox360. Then 250 hours Skyrim on the Playstation 4. Now replaying Skyrim with mods on pc for countless hours and more to come. This music and game is home. Skipped ESO after a try, but hoping ES6 will be better. Can't wait to make new memories!
Thanks to this music, the arrow in my knee doesn't feel so bad anymore.
''on a cosmological scale, its all nearby'' - septimus signus
Septimus needs a lore book just for him
I really should play this whenever I feel stressed out or sad. This music is as brilliant as the game.
Listening to this soundtrack while reading the Bible is the absolute best way to go. Especially on a rainy day.
Thank you! helping me and guessing many others get thru this quarantine life...... too many people in the house ; this is my constant background channel to stay somewhat sane.... key word "somewhat" lol.. thanks again for the peaceful constant calm.
Perfect
Every song on here hits a nostalgia nerve in me
Very excited to hear this! Thank you so much 💕
Hope you like it!
You just keep putting out gold my friend😭🙏 thank you
Thank you for this gift.
This is so beautiful! Maybe you could make another Hunger Games music, like District 12 or the Capitol. Thanks so much!
This is not the Hunger Games, this is the elder scrolls
@@hellaroh6053
I'm pretty sure they're aware of that and are simply requesting another ambient track. There's a forest-sounds Hunger Games one, so it seems they're asking for another one from the Hunger Games world.
Wowww really excited one more amazing video. I love this channel 😍😍😍😙😗
oh my goodness I can't wait!!!
Thank you for your videos. I have a unborn baby kicking me at ridiculous hours and this is one of the only ways to get him to sleep is by listening to skyrim/oblivion music. So thank you truly!!
