I like the idea of torture-testing Topaz - thank you - the results were interesting. Evidently these are 'worst case' scenarios. MIght be interesting to test Rife49 interpolation through comfyui alongside iterative upscales via latent space next. Things are moving fast in this space.

Thanks for this, it is one of the more helpful comparisons that I have come across and is relevant to my workflow filming wildlife.
Do you tend to complete the edit in DVR before attempting to enhance still problematic clips in Topaz?

Yes. If DaVinci can solve the problem first then I try that. If it can’t, I just use the replace clip feature in Resolve to preserve the edit.

I've used Topaz for like 18 months, I've been impressed in many cases. My year of updates has run out from my initial purchase, but plan to re-up this year.

Absolutely. The updates they bring tend to massively improve the program and I haven’t seen an update really downgrade it.
