Almost correct on the origin of the California Special Mustang. Ford's Southern California Region Sales Manager Lee Grey went to Lee Iaccoca a Ford Executive and asked for the car. You're correct on the reason for the GT/CS, California as a state was home to twenty percent of Mustangs built and sold.

My GT/CS came with the old cluster and less red stitching then this one (i checked out your other video too (2019 hard top gt/cs) and it had the same....but mine cost a lot less... MSRP 47 and change and I picked it up for 36 and change... still I wonder why I got less....that and I don't have a subwoofer....gonna have to add one.

I’d say so, but keep in mind, they’re just as fast as a GT from 10 years ago, definitely not slow. They just need to be careful and drive the car carefully.
Not a little more, but a lot more. Consider discounts on the Mustang. The difference will be at least 12-13K. Also, you can't "snag" a Corvette because they are sold out for a while. So the Corvette is currently pie in the sky. Next year - different story.

This assumes 8K difference in MSRPS (60K - 52K) plus 4K off mustangs MSRP. Because Mustangs will be discounted and Corvettes will not. So you can't have a Corvette for just a bit more, at least for another year or so.

Let's compare top down procedure between . Mustang 1st. 1. Unlock roof with a old 1960ish handle that you must grab turn and push it back in place. 2. Press and hold button as top goes down and when the top down procedure is complete You still have the top showing. 3. You have to get out and open the trunk and take out 2 plastic cover pieces and Clamp them into place on each side of the roof that still shows. Then close the trunk get back in. Whew ! Lots of work in 2020 to put the top down. Camaro. 1. Press and hold button top goes out of site and is covered by a real TONNEAU COVER. Oh yeah you can drive 30 mph or below and put top up or down. Shame on Ford. Makes the customer do a whole lot . Just to drop the top. Lol

my exact car, but it is a coupe not a convertible, has the 10 speed. 23 years old and blessed to own this car. My forth mustang I have owned.

There’s no way to make the stitching red on the center stack (7:30) because that is molded plastic. There is no stitching to change color.

Joe would an ecoboost convertible be worthwhile to own? I believe the convertible has less torque than the coupe.
Mustang Ecoboost would be just fine.

No, it would just be way louder. The GT350 has a totally different crankshaft and that is what gives it the sound.
