Steenbras River Gorge and Crystal Pools Hiking Trail, Gordon's Bay

The Crystal Pools Hiking Trail and River Gorge forms part of the Steenbras Nature Reserve close to Gordons Bay. There are 5 large pools named as following coming down the gorge: Top pool, Waterfall pool, Crystal pool 1 , Crystal pool 2, Family pool.

This is amazing! It looks like you don't follow the river path up towards the top pool, but just go down that way. Which way did you use to get to the Top Pool?

There is a nice restaurant close to the bridge. And they are busy construction clamping sites. Then there is cannon dungeons from world war 2.
