That's my favorite Band-Maid song ever and that's due to Akane non-stop drumming and the solos, Saiki fast singing is also on-point, the bridge is gorgeous, this song is absolutely incredible.
Blooming is one of Band Maids masterpieces. One of the pillars that built the temple of awesomeness that is their catalog. Puzzle is another, and i think everyone agrees on those 2. After that, opinions surely diverge, because they just have so many great songs!
BLOOMING's music video is an excellent choice to react to an enjoy. This song shows off BAND-MAID's individual musical skills as well as illustrating Kanami's talent in song writing. Glad you discovered this piece.
Great harmonies between Saiki and Miku, but also or especially between Kanami (gt) and Akane (dr). Rarely have I heard these two instruments working together so perfectly as the energy engine for the entire length of a song, as in this one. 🔥Every time again, this song works much better for me than any energy drink ever could. 🤭🤘🏻 _____________________ _"Sometimes we laugh because we're sad or to hide our frustration"_ - from *Gacharic Spin* -「 I Wish I 」 🎶✨
Hey Tyler, good news: You can now add this song to your playlist! “Blooming” is one of the few Band-Maid songs that everyone pretty much agrees is best served by this beautiful video. (So far, anyway) “DICE,” “From Now On,” “Influencer,” “Daydreaming” being the others. By the looks on your face, you appreciate the dynamic changes in this masterpiece. Kanami’s arrangements are things of beauty. How special is it that Saiki has a proper human harmonizer next to her? Smooth, clean, pretty, accurate. Like you said, perfect voice for harmonies. And the last 45 seconds are some of the most precious moments in music ❤
This is one of the first three songs I heard from B-M. The next day I was telling one of my front desk ladies about the band but misremembered the song’s title, so I called it “Orbital.” Not sure where I got that.
You've heard the acoustic *"Sayonakidori"* but have you ever heard the original? There's one on their channel under the "Releases" tab, track 7 under the playlist for "Unseen World" (no music video, just album art) or a combination fan-cam on the Ohrenje channel. It's a different song - full-throated Miku, not the cutesy Kobato. Fun fact - "sayonara" means "good night" but could imply death; like saying "goodbye" forever.
Great reaction, Blooming is a masterpiece for the start to the very end. It's kind of strange for me to call it a Kanami solo when all instruments are so busy accompagnying her.
Every once in a while I get concerned that all the people reacting to B-M are just pandering to us for views and telling us what we wanna hear. 'Cause, like, that'd be pretty easy to do, right? And maybe we're all just delusional? Anyone else ever have these thoughts? I don't seriously think that's the case, but it is one of those ideas that creeps around in the dark corners of my mind.
Miku has sung full choruses before, since 'Thrill'. But how could you think Miku did that tapping. I'm pretty sure Kanami hasn't taught her how to do that yet, even though she did do a small lead in 'Manners'. And you can't miss Kanami's PRS. It has Bird Inlays on the fretboard. And Miku has been playing Zemaitus guitars exclusively since stopped playing the Rickenbacker. You need more BAND-MAID in your life. One a week, at least.
Ty, seriously, yo don't need to have a MV or OLV to react to, the Ladies under the Releases tab on their channel also have most of their Discography available, with the exception of their first mini-album, and some of the special alternate versions of existing songs. Some of my favorites are "Freezer" from New Beginning, Moratorium from Just Bring It, Matchless Gum and Unfair Game from their "Yolo" super single release, Why why why from Unseen World. And Many Many more. You don't NEED to have a video, just the song and we will come to hear your opinion on the songs. And many times Miku will layer their voices for not just choruses but even parts of main verses. And Miku can do some leads, she still hasn't quite gotten up to Kanami's level. Then again, Miku doesn't have over 27 years of experience with disconnecting her left and right hands from playing piano like Kanami does, which makes Kanami's guitar playing as spectacular as it is. And you didn't notice how MISA basically soloed on her bass, throughout the entire song. And many of us refer to them in the 3rd person as "The Ladies". And as I wrote above, Miku layers and blends her voice with Saiki's voice so much that you can't really notice unless her voice ISN'T there. On the mixing, this goes back to when they first started. Since Miku couldn't play when the band first started, MISA took over what was the rhythm guitar position, until Miku got good enough to fill that roll. However by that time MISA's thundering bass became such an integral part of the Band-Maid sound, that they kept MISA's bass higher in the mix. And many times you will hear Miku play what would normally be considered as a bass guitar line, tied in to the kick drum. Those are just a few of the reason the Ladies are so versatile as musicians. But back to the mixing once again, The Ladies have been heavily involved in the arrangement of their music from the beginning, and they got even more involved as they progressed. Currently, they way they record, is everyone records their parts at the home studios and they send it to Kanami who puts it all together and mixes it to the sound she wants. Then they listen to it as a group and make any tweaks, then they send it to the label. Who then usually ruins it during mastering, by adding too much compression. But 97% of it is all done by the Ladies. And please, check out the Ladies music that doesn't have videos associated with them. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
This song is known as the "Homework" song. Kanami wrote the back bone and then she passed off the individual parts to the other girls. It's the first of a new writing style for the girls.
Iirc, Kanami was suffering from some writer's block, so the band came up with "homework" for each member to come up with a riff or melody to help inspire her. The result was this fabulous song!

Leave it to the Maids to take us "somewhere far away" into the future of rock. Band-Maid. Blooming Brilliant! Thx, TYLR!
Nice to see you back with Band-Maid. Any Band-Maid playlist with less than 100 songs is very incomplete.

Hi, did you notice what the bass was doing during Kanami's solo?
When they had to choose two songs from band maid to use in the movie Kate they must have had a really hard time picking just 2

No, Kanami does the tapping.

Good, ain't they
I'm sorry, I don't want to be one of those guys, but, I guess I am . Her name is Ah-Kah-Nee. Akane.
Perfect song ✨✨✨ , great reaction of 😊
"ah-KAH-neh". Miku's guitar skills are not up to finger tapping yet.
This song is known as the "Homework" song. Kanami wrote the back bone and then she passed off the individual parts to the other girls. It's the first of a new writing style for the girls.
Misa said she was drunk when she composed her part and sent it to Kanami. After she realised it was difficult to play 🙂

They write on screen or even paper first so generally write stuff they can't yet play.
@@stevekane4922 Prime example is H-G-K. It took Kanami several months to learn how to play it reliably.
@@yolandria she says she writes things none of them can play and achi does too - and then once they can she makes them play it faster.
