Dynasty Warriors 8 - Xiao Qiao 5th Weapon Illusion Fan Unlock Guide

Difficulty - Hard or Chaos
Character - Xiao Qiao
Requirements:
Rescue the trapped panda before Sun Quan goes through the nearest gate.
Step 1:
Rush ahead and defeat the ambush unit lead by Zhang Liao and Zhang He.
Step 2:
When they are defeated, the eastern gate should open, go through and save the Panda.
Do this before Sun Quan goes through the nearby gate and you'll unlock the weapon.
As requested here's the unlock guide for Xiao Qiao's 5th weapon "Illusion Fan" if you have a request feel free to ask and I'll do my best.

Yes it's the remix of Arena and I think it's just called "Arena DW8 mix" or something like that. If you go to the Koei Warriors forum and sign up (it's free) you can download the whole album on the members only section.
I'm lost. I beat the wolves and tiger and it says something about the treasure but it never appears. And unless i missed something, I never saw you pick it up either.
aakaido i agree. Seems to be the gold is the treasure. No weapon. This is for DW8 base game not XL

I've checked out some of splitplaythru's video and yeah I see what you mean, his weapon attack is in the 200+ range. I'll do some testing in Ambition mode's Temper system, that's the only way I can think of to raise your weapons attack...but I'm pretty sure there's a cap.
Again I'll let you know if it's even possible to get over 42 as that's the highest I've got one of my weapons to.

I can't remember the exact stage but if you complete the Wu's hypothetical path, you'll unlock Xiao Qiao.
I like Xing Cai but haven't got any requests to do hers, but now that I have one I'll get to her soon. >=]
Overall it's good.
Picks up all the mistakes fixed in previous versions, but the heaven/earth/man system is a pain in the ass when playing on hard.

Yeah, you played through the main storyline to unlock most the of characters, then you go through Hypothetical to unlock the rest. =]

Did you pick up the treasure? The weapon comes up as "Discovered Treasure!" and you need to pick it up.

I realized in dw7 xiao qiao fan is big and wide and now now in dw8 they made it smaller.
No prob, Daqiao is next. >=]
I did it same to your clip exactly , but more than 20 times , I didn't see any new fan . Please help me some thing ! I play in PC XtremeLegends CompleteEdition

Hmm, @pimplypete, I've seen it before on a few guys channels walkthroughs like splitplaythru and it certainly dosent look like modding. Maybe if you have the time you can check it out and get back to us?

how much damage is this weapon?
+GamingWith CutiePieBertrand The Illusion fan has a 36 base damage, and the one I used in the video (Nine Heavens Fan) has a 24 base damage. Both will get a +10 bonus with anyone that's proficient with the fan weapon.

Do you mean DW9? Because this is DW8 and she does have her fans. And I think she does have her fans still in the next game.
Shoot my bad, I just notice you mean twin fans, as in two not one. Errr no I believe her main weapon in DW8 is the single fan.
