Fitted a new undertray, changed my diff fluid, and opened up my brake ducts in prep for a track day. I don't have any space in my apartment building so fit all my tools and equipment in some containers in the boot of the M6 and use some space at work after hours to get it done. Always referring to your vids bro 💪🏼😎
Love your videos gives me info and some confidence on working on some of the smaller jobs. I am like you I don’t have a garage just a big driveway, it’s cheaper to buy cars here in NZ than making a garage. Some jack stands, basic tools, etc. Even if I don’t work on it, I get better info so I can discuss with my mechanic, what are the niggles and possible issues.
Cheers Jun, glad you’ve found the videos useful. Yeah garages are expensive here, for what is essentially a glorified large tin shed. We’re lucky here in NZ it’s quite pleasant working outside (most of the time!)
Hello, I love your work and your videos about the m5e60. I ended up buying one with 110000 kilometers 😉. I learned a lot watching your videos 🙏. I've already changed connecting rod caps, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, ignition coil, oil and filter change, gearbox oil change, differential oil change. I'm thinking of keeping this car and cherishing it, what would you recommend me to do as maintenance so my car stays at its best? Thanks
Great to hear you’ve found the videos of value. It sounds like you are already doing a proper job looking after your M5! They certainly are a keeper that’s for sure. Make sure to get your injectors done. Also keep the sunroof & windscreen drains clean, replacing wet modules can get expensive

Nothing wrong with being a 'fair weather' DIYer. Most jobs are messy/fiddly/awkward enough without getting soaked wet though as well! 🔧😉
