Here is my best attempt at translating the lyrics of this masterpiece. Enjoy! The place where I fell asleep, origin of clouds. This is the corner of the village where no one secretly comes by. Look beneath the mistletoe. A small, childlike entity is facing away. It's somewhat odd, isn't it? Since when that repeated chirping Has been swirling into nothing but bubbles? For anyone who's wondering, the titles read "countability" (like numbers). Or it could be "sephiroth" (or sefirot) from the Kabalah. But yeah Idk much about the Kabalah, I've never studied it or anything
After some searches, for those who are interested on the meaning on both the title and/or lyrics, I've compiled some stuff that was said on the comments and what i searched. Be warned that not everything is accurate, or heck i doubt that it is completly correct as it is very vague and kinda confusing to follow, but i'll try my best and feel free to correct me or add more stuff to it. Just be civil about it. The first thing you'll notice is the title which is in hebrew, translating it means "sefirot" in this scenario because in hebrew a single word could mean various things, but on the spotify of this music, the name is exactly "sefirot". The word sefirot means emanations and there are 10 of them which Ein Sof (Infinite or endless) creates various sorts of realms both physical and metaphysical. Ein Sof is a Jewish Kabbalah concept that was about before the self-materialization of the universe itself and even before God became the God we all know, in another words, the realm before God even existed. Now the lyrics is about a cursed box named "kotoribako" which translates to bird box (we also hear chirping in the music). That box is apparently made by a child's body parts which is pretty grotesque and creepy. People used to send said box to others and it would curse entire families which leads to death. That curse is also can repeat itself, it can be used many times to curse. If you have the balls to search "kotoribako" i would suggest searching it with caution, I only translated what some comments said so take what i said about the bird box with a grain of salt. The lyrics also says the word "schadenfreude", a german word that mean a pleasant feeling of joy or happiness that arises when you see or hear that someone else has suffered misfortune, sorrow, suffering, or failure without your intervention. Hella creepy, but they basically get to play God in the lyrics. The confusing part is what the word "sefirot" has a connection between the "kotoribako" motif, maybe the playing God part, but other than that, there isn't much meaning that link them together so from this part is purely theoretical. A japanese comment assumes that the meaning has something with the fruit of wisdom and the fruit of life. I tried searching these, but the closest thing that i could find that made sense is about the "forbidden fruit" which is the fruit that Adam and Eve ate that originates from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Its metaphor refers to any indulgence or pleasure that is considered illegal or immoral. Which yeah, it makes sense. But for it lacks some stuff, like "sefirot" is about something before God itself so the tree of knowledge of good and evil wouldn't even exist as according to the story it was created by God and it commands mankind to not eat fruits from it. How can someone play God if it didn't even exist? It lacks other connections towards the word "sefirot" so i think it's about how someone with that bird box can curse any and many people with zero consequences, because no one will know as it curses without someones intervention and can be repeated, causing endless chaos. They keep doing it and having pleasure with it, since no one punishes them for doing it, they basically live in a world where God doesn't exist, as God would punish said person long time ago, which connects the word "sefirot" where God didn't even exist. It is a theory tho, but i think it makes the most sense, if God exists, they would probably punish them like Adam and Eve was punished by getting exiled from Eden, but if God doesn't exist then it is a point where "sefirot" takes place, before the existence of God and if the person who keeps sending the bird box is unpunished, then what can we do? It is occuring without their intervention so no one would know and they will keep doing it for pleasure, it may be inhuman, immoral, but they don't care. So if my theory is correct, the moral of the music is that some people can do things just to enjoy themselves and they will keep doing it until they are prevented to do so, they will have zero regards about the others as long as they are enjoying themselves. There are people for everything, from liking a TV cartoon or video game, to even liking illegal and immoral stuff. Cheers

@@idk-qc9zy "Sfirot" (wikipedia says "sefirot" but no one says it like that. Hebrew writing rules are complicated). It means "countings", as in "to count". It's a term in Kabbalah. According to my mom who's learned Kabbalah for more than a decade (because Wikipedia uses complicated language), it's something about the creation of the world. You see, in Kabbalah everything started with something like a big "soul", that's like a higher exalted form beyond our comprehension in another, higher ranking world. That soul shattered into many pieces, creating humanity. Not only that, the soul pieces were all brought to the lowest world in the chain. The sfirot ("sfira" in singular) are the worlds, starting from the top world/sfira ("Keter". Basically the creator, "god", and where the whole soul thing started) and ranging to our world/sfira ("Malkhut". The lowest world. You might say it's hell, and humanity lives in it). There are 10 sfirot, 10 worlds. Basically in Kabbalah it is believed that we need to unite our souls in order to go to the higher worlds. The goal is to move up the chain. The upper worlds aren't corporeal like our world. The higher up you go, the less of a corporeal form you'll have. You'll be more like a soul, until we move to the top, Keter, infinity. There are no heaven or hell after death, humans are reincarnated as all the souls continue their journey to become united until the day they all reach infinity (Keter, god, the creator, infinity, that big "soul" from the beginning). ...It's an interesting concept. I don't really know much about it nor do I believe in it, but it's interesting.

What does the title meams

(the (?) mark is on the words that I’m not completely sure were “romanized” properly bc I kept hearing other words that didn’t exactly make sense w/ the kanjis readings; minasoko is one of the proper ways to read 水底 but it kinda sounds like they were saying “inaboko” and 朝靄 is read as "asamoya" but 靄 can be read as "atsu" and it fits better in the song, but kinda feels like they sang it as "asatsuyou"…? Any inputs on the lyrics are welcome and I’d be very grateful w the help, as my japanese knowledge is very shallow,,)

for those who don't know hebrew, the song is titled "sefirot"
"I will... never be a memory."
its hebrew
@@fvnyom Lmao. Yeah, it is hebrew and the concept came from some religious/philosophical individual from the ancient times and was later interpreted by the greeks and many others.
It's the study of how worlds are created, though, not very scientific just philosophic.
It's a bit redundant in our present times, but still holds unique value.
