    Have watched this whole Series 4. Caught up today. Am watching because of my Granddaughter Brittany and her husband Kevin. Have enjoyed all of the Episodes. Chase & Jay I enjoyed the Alaska trip so very much. What beautiful countryside. You are taking an older person on an adventure that I have never been on. Thank you & keep up the good work. Now show some of Kevin and Brittany hunts. Everyone is great, Thank you again for sharing.

      Thanks Trevor! We like to switch it up a little. Even though Bad Men is our favorite.

    When I hunted in south Texas. I found out what a " wait a minute" bush is. I can tell you. It sucks getting into them. A scar on my arm was visible for four years. Good to hear Bad men again. Keep hammering.

    Isnt it weird how music can create emotion even when you don't listen to the lyrics...
    Every time I hear the intro I get this Excitement/something. Like the intro to Land of the free with the Born and raised crew. Makes my heart pound.

    Not stepping on toes but to answer alot of people, audad in Texas falls under the exotic class of animal so no special tag required. Awesome to see you guys in Texas! You should try for some Axis here when you can, by far the best tasting meat ever. Good job guys

      We don't always tag out. And our goal is to show that. Keep it real! We will be giving away more Marsupial packs soon

    Oh man I’ve been there on those whirlwind crazy hunts. Even the swing and miss hunts are well worth it, makes the others that much sweeter. Fingers crossed you guys get to go back. I’d be interested to hear about how the Marsupial Pack compares to the AK Guide or the Kuiu?

    Thanks for the shout out. Editing.......where do you even start? What program do you use? We hunted mtn lion over New Years, my step brother and I were both successful. I videoed quite a bit with a go pro and iPhones. Looking at approximately 2 hours of footage and have no idea how to bring it all together? Any suggestions?

    The sheep hunts you guys have been doing in Texas, are they draw hunts or on private property?

    • @TheMountainProject
      @TheMountainProject  6 років тому

      Hey Rob, the Texas hunts are on private land. When we hunt in New Mexico it is draw and public land.

    I literally know nothing about Aoudad or hunting in Texas but I've heard that there is not a lot of public land down there. Was this a public land hunt? What goes into getting tags and hunting Aoudad there? Those animals look super cool and awesome terrain.

    • @TheMountainProject
      @TheMountainProject  6 років тому

      This was a big private ranch. We hunt a lot of public ground in New Mexico. They are fun to hunt, but it's always a challenge. Highly recommended

    • @TheMountainProject
      @TheMountainProject  6 років тому

      There in not much public land in Texas. If you are looking for a public land Aoudad hunt New Mexico is the best option. The application deadline is March 21st.

    I noticed your using a 28 Nosler I’m just wondering if it is worth it to have a gun like that that only gets about 300 rounds before u ruin a barrel or if u suggest a different round

    • @TheMountainProject
      @TheMountainProject  5 років тому

      It’s a hunting rifle, not a range rifle. It’ll get years of service, and is one of the most efficient magnum calibers available.

    Die hards! Was this a draw hunt? Public land? So he was happy to shoot that size audad with his bow but waiting on a stud for his rifle? I don't really know much about them. Thanks for sharing again!

    • @TheMountainProject
      @TheMountainProject  6 років тому

      This was a private land hunt. Yes, you are correct. Josh was looking for a mature ram, but any ram with a bow is a trophy!

      It's called "Bad Men" by RIVERS Band. You can find them on Bandcamp. Also check out their song "Evermore"... it's my personal favorite.
