Elliot you seem to not understand that the reason Adidas kept producing Yeezys in 2023 is because they cannot stop factories from producing 2022 initiated sneaker's because they can get sued for that.
Adidas said why they were thinking about selling "Yeezy's" after dropping him. They had a huge amount of contracts signed already for manufacturing and materials sourcing. The companies they had those contracts with weren't just going to let them out of the contracts because Adidas had to drop Kanye. Hence why Adidas said they were going to lose billions from cutting him and why there are Yeezy's that were manufactured post-dropping him. They should have dropped the branding since they own the designs and just changed it to the "Adidas Boost 350" and dropped the price in order to at least recover their cost of manufacturing/materials contracts.

If they sold them for far under retail all that would happen is those people with those fancy computers would buy up most of the stock and sell it for double the real retail price. Adidas is going to wish they never got rid of Kanye. Because of him they almost topped Nike in 2016-2017, and to this day the Yeezys were almost the only Adidas that was guaranteed to sell out. I like Kanye’s Nikes and the Wave Runners but other then that never been a big fan of his Yeezys. But I’ve always respected what he’s done for sneaker culture and dropping hella color ways so his fans would be able to get pairs at retail was a good move, shoes he really appreciates his fans.
