When intercropping, you firstly plant your pepper at sparse densed spacing, because ugu is the main crop. Ugu would be introduced later like about 3 weeks after the establishment of your pepper. Ensure pepper is not closely spaced, this would help avoid competition

Yellowing of your leaves could be as a result of many factors: 1. Is your soil dried? If yes, irrigate. 2. Is your field waterlogged? If yes, then crate drainage channel for the water to flow out. 3. If above concerns are sorted? Then, you have to apply urea and organic manure. Manure could be poultry dung and should be very dry though. The above should help resolve the yellowing of your leaves
I used DAKSH insecticide to spray my maize when I discovered some pests affecting the one month old crops. To my surprise after some few days some leaves of the corn changed from green to white and it even affected few yam leaves. Please what do you think I didn't wrong? Also did you transplant the pepper before planting the ugu or you planted them at same period? Thank you.

Ugu is 60cm by 30cm.
The pepper, you could do 150cm apart.

Pepper was firstly transplanted to the field first
You probably didn't use the right chemical or the sprayer had a bit of herbicide in it.
