I found out about Dimash in the fall 2023... complete fluke that I found him on YT. Actually it was Justin Hawkins who did a reaction to Dimash S.O.S and I was floored... tears just coming down my face... i was a fan imediately and now I want to hear more. Dimash is a singer for the ages....

This is a blend of the Bach and Gounod versions of Ave Maria - done completely vocalized by Dimash... Who else can do this??? Thank you for your reaction and insight!!!! Actually it is a collaberation of Dimash and Igor Krutoy, igir came out of retirement especisllybto work with Dimash's voice. Dimssh phoned Igor one evening saying he wanted to donhis versuon of ave maria. They spent time discussing n sharing their ideas. Hving cum to a consensus igor set to n followed upmon the discussion. So this is their collaboration.

Dimash is just great, isn't he? He manages to lift people to heaven with just one vowel. He leaves me speechless every time I hear this song. And I love it when the drums come in. It's so unique. Igor Krutoy (the gentleman at the piano) composed this version of the Ave Maria at Dimash's request.
Usually, Ave Maria is a prayer to the Holy Virgin Mary. In this case, however, it is a prayer for all people, no matter what religion they belong to.
Besides that Dimash is a Muslim and Igor Kurtoy, who often accompanies him on the piano, is Jewish. That is why this Ave Maria has no lyrics, since it is not only sung for Christians.
He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury.

This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favorite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯

Dimash graduated as a classical and pop singer and also he has degree in composition. Also he has a perfect pitch. I don't think its hard for him to sing intervals 😄
This was written by Igor Krutoy at the request of Dimash. I believe it is a vocalize because Dimash did not want it seen as a Christian song. He loves and respects his audience and Dears and he wanted this to be accessible to all, regardless of faith tradition. He believes music has no borders or boundaries.

Dimash's newest song, When I've Got You, is his first R&B/Jazz/Soul Performance and he nailed it. The official video of it is coming out on his official channel on Feb. 26th. Don't miss his awesome masterpiece, Story of One Sky, a music video which he wrote, composed and sang.As a composer yourself, you will appreciate two of several of his compositions, Unforgettable Day written when he was only 19, and his unique , amazing performance of El Amor En Ti, his first composition in Spanish. I feel remiss not listing every one of his songs. Each is a thrilling, mesmerizing experience. His versatility is incredible as well as his voice range. I listen to Dimash every day as often as I can. You also will want to listen to his duet with Placido Domingo performed as part of the Virtuoso Event in Budapest recently. It is gorgeous.

I have to admit that I'm frequently grateful to just be an average music listener that I can just sit back and enjoy the beauty of Dimash's performances without an overwhelming need to discover what key he's in or what note he's singing to distract me from the aural experience.
It's wonderful how people differ😀. For me, there are very few things more satisfying than sitting in front of the piano, exactly like Doug did, and trying to figure out what exactly Dimash does, both with the vocal line and the chord progression. Greetings from South Africa.

You know he collaborates with other composers, this time was with Igor Krutoy. Dimash composes his vocals himself normally but this is a collaboration between them both. Dimash is also an accomplished composer. When he graduated from his masters in composing, he had the top score of 100%. It's best if you dont talk over Dimash as you will miss incredible things. Dimash has been in musical education since the age of 5 and has absolute pitch ❤

First,: Ave Maria is a superhuman vocal exception, which takes you by surprise. Being a vocal song, a pure masterpiece, the magic of Dimash's voice is unleashed in the ether and is the fire that burns the soul and heart through love, beauty, elevation and purity. .Second:
From my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. We have to be consistent and say that all the pieces are exceptional, not one can be compared to another, because a parent loves all his children the same!!! Second:
Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. Notice at the beginning when Dimash is getting ready to sing you hear the heartbeat slowing down before stopping then Dimash sings its like the passing of life to be greeted by the angels. To me this is the closest you will get to heaven without going there. Even though this isn't the Catholic Prayer version it still gets the message across beautifully

Two weeks prior to this, Dimash called Maestro Krutoy and asked him to compose
an Ave Maria as a vocalization.
Dimash is a Muslim so not into a Hail Mary words composition, just the music.
Igor said it unsettled him momentarily but spoke that he could do it, went to his piano and two weeks later. Voila!
Igor is an older, phenomenally wealthy Russian Jew so the dynamics between him and Dimash are as complex as the music they produce together.
They are both masters of unexpected chord changes! Dimash also has a Masters in Composition so you are in for a treat with anything you choose by them.

Apparently, people have been educating or writing to you for a while or even "riding" you here.😊. The most difficult thing is to pick your next one. Based on your list and who you are, it's Stranger or Olympico that will drop that jaw again of yours pretty easily, if that's what you want. Then they're sagas and tributes and such a variety from Dimash that it's hard to recommend to have you catch up with The GOAT and his goosebumping jaw-dropping performances.

To put it in context:
He sings lower than bass in Opera. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note.

Two recent Dimash performances definitely worth reviewing are him singing with Placido Domingo and him performing his own song Omir with his brother. Then for another totally different level of his range, Olympico.
