I can’t wait till he gets a roman gladiator skin. Love his kit and the animations are so clean and weighty. Good job team
I like this style of highlights where it's just going through one match so you can see how he does through the whole game not just fed
For SMITE players:
-Looks like Achilles Dash
-Anhur impale
-Odin Ult
Pretty strong
Zarus' spear throw doesn't knock back, so not really Anhurs impale. Also Achilles' shield bash with stun.

I love the kit, but I do agree that he should have some ability that utilizes the fact he’s a lizard
Like what? The most I could think of is a tail whip which his isn’t exactly a great length for. Or I guess we could do the thing where lizards drop their tail. Maybe a way to escape a hard cc once per however long lol
@@VintageNarwhal honestly that would have been really cool, it would need to be on a considerable cooldown and probably replace his stun cuz stun+stun resistance kit would be a nightmare to deal with

Matchmaking still sucks azz but at least we have a new broken hero to play with
how long does it usually take? i play overprime but it 30 minutes sometimes. annoyed af and debating whether to buy Predecessor

@@MrTophatreaper matchmaking times are short but that's WHY I have a problem with it. Usually 30 secs to about 3 minutes, but they sacrifice sbmm and fair games for those short wait times. You might find a match in 60 seconds but 7/10 times it'll be a completely lopsided match. Over prime def has longer wait times but I also feel like their games tend to be fair a lot more often than pred matches. At least from a solo queue perspective
@@MrTophatreaper pred is more polished then OP and a lot of fun, I think it's worth the purchase regardoess of which game you prefer, I only recommend that you prepare yourself to carry your team almost every match unless you find some good mates to queue up with

I feel like he's too "human" to be from the same world Rampage and Grux come from. And if he's not from that world... not sure what his origin is
From what I heard he is a champion gladiator in the same world as Rampage and Grux if im not mistaken and wanted to ascend to godhood but thats pretty much it i guess, so i understand that he feels too "human" from the way he attacks with his spear and shield i felt like he should use his own body as a weapon like his tail for instance, where he does a short spin move with his tail as he hits someone with it like a whiplash or something like that i guess, but thats just my opinion.
Yeah, that is the only thing from his design that doesn't end convincing me, he doesn't look from the same universe than Grux or rampage, he looks like a generic lizzard man from a typical fantasy world
When you see him in from of grux, Zarus looks out of place
@@muglokdecrepitus1301 yeah I forgot to say as well his desgin looks like a created Dragonborn variant character from D&D which i dont have much of a problem with his design is okay but he does look out of place which you are right about, I hope maybe they will add more context to this character I want to know more about the lore about him and his world just to see maybe he does fit aswell as maybe having him be revisted again in the future, but overall he doesnt look too bad tho

Rampage is a convict running from belica and Murdoc if you're talking old epic lore. As for the new lore they'll implement in the future I'm not sure

Why this Game try to be SMITE ??? (Paragon legacy was awesome with its card systeme !! This hero seems like Achille in SMITE. Don’t get IT predecessor, really. So, i played Overpime. Overpime it’s not SMITE, even if the economic système is the same as SMITE/LOL. Card systeme was ingenious in paragon legacy !! Miss me.

I think crunch with tainted blade first item destroys Zarus but we'll see.

Fantastic character design and incredibly fun hero to play! Great stuff team! If I may add my only 2 cents, can we plz have the thrown spear have an ARCING animation pretty please? I understand if there is a design choice for a straight thrown spear, but to me it's "unrealistic," and i say that loosely in a phantasy setting.. But I'm just *throwing out* the opinion that an arcing animation is more realistic, pleasant on the eyes, engaging, and all around leads to better and more skilled interactions. Just being able to arc it over minions, or up ledges, etc... You get it. Just a thought! THANK YOU FOR REVIATLAIZING AND MAKING SUCH AMAZING GAME AND BRINGING PARAGON COMMUNITY BACK! 🤘

@@NobleVagabond2552 Your point may be correct, but it stills look weird... If you play the video at 0.25x speed, you will see that the throw animation is off, and the projectile basically chases Feng...
Animation is whack. You can see in the overview trailer too. His spear is in his hand and also hovering to the left at the same time in one clip
@@Zorxeng1990 There are some projectiles in the game basically helping you. Shinbis wolves turn towards enemies very often.
@@Shikaarnah, the hitbox on wolves are just huge, also yea that spear throw looks weird. Left his hand at the wrong angle.
