We heard one of the exciting things to do in Basra Iraq was to take a boat ride down the river and check out the famous modern bridge. We found a nice local guy who took us for about 10,000 IQD which is roughly $7usd. After encountering some police, the boat ride was over and we went to check out a restaurant we were recommended by a local in Basra.
