New 2022 Audi RS3 Sportback Review - Finally an Audi that Oversteers !

- The 2022 Audi RS3 Sportback and Saloon boast 400PS and 500Nm of Torque. 0-60 takes less than 3.8 seconds and they both top out at 174 mph. I was invited by Audi to experience these cars in the natural environment...the German Autobahn and the snow covered Austrian Alps.
The new Torque Splitter dials out the traditional Audi understeer and helps the car rotate at the rear, giving more driving feel and plenty of smiles per mile.

I was fortunate to own a 2012 RS3 , what an amazing vehicle that was. Easy to drive at a relaxed pace but full of beans when circumstances allowed. A beauty!

Wow 🤩 the landscape backdrop for this video is breathtaking! Also the sound that rs3 makes is intoxicating. I actually replayed parts of the video just to hear the car again lol. Fantastic review Sir Pete and great voice over work and editing! Only bad thing with the car is definitely price. Cars just keep getting more and more expensive

The autobahn was very addictive. Problem is 70mph feels like you are barely moving 😂

@@chriscringle9263 yeah, seen that. Dealers being pigs trying to flip the launch editions. I did notice a couple have now dropped in price. It’s not a cheap car even at list price. Mine was £62k. Still, it’s only money and you only live once…

Fantastic video Pete, and what an epic location, amazing drone shots too. A great car no doubt, but the reduced build quality of the new Audi's, and the 50k+ price tag would put me off seriously considering this as a potential purchase.
Yep, totally agree, far too expensive.
IMO these types of ICE performance car are fast becoming as irrelevant as a dinosaur too when compared to the electric cars starting hitting the forecourts.
Looks like a typewriter and snail-mail in the contemporary world of smartphones and 5G internet connectivity.
I think the next few years are the last hurrah for these ICE cars. Never mind, the old king is dead, long live the king.

I was lucky enough to own a RS6 Vorsprung which was amazing !!! But just didn’t work for me as a daily … ordered this also in Vorsprung … Hoping this one will be a keeper 🙏🏼 Your video has put me at ease now … keep up the great work 😊👍🏼

Great review, I was going to buy a new Hyundai i30N premium this year as a sensibly priced performance hatch but I have always wanted an RS3 and fear that it won't be long until the emission laws kill off the amazing RS cars. I should just go ahead and buy one before they're gone!

Just watching this car in white looking absolutely gorgeous just makes me sooooo glad I bought my new S3 also in white instead of a 45 edition Golf, the RS3 with another 100bhp and torque splitter is a step up but my car has been dyno’d at 330bhp so it’s no slouch, Audi are simply the best looking cars out their, by a country mile 😀

PP brings a sensible approuch to ownership of the S3 sedan; the review piece grabs an S3 / RS3 buyers attention. . The S3 could well be the value proposition of the two; S3 vs RS3. .. Hard to say for sure as it’s been a while since I drive the M340 but I think the RS3 is considerably quick and just that bit smaller 👍

Best place to test drive the RS3 Ped, quickly followed by some of the NC500, but you know that. Sounds amazing and addictive and with the slightly loosened rear end looks to be great fun indeed. Your point on the 'confidence inspiring' nature of the package is both an interesting and valid one. The only challenge this presents is when only two of the three key components are present at the same time being performance and inspired confidence, when the third is missing.....talent....I guess that applies to all performance machinery when anybody with the available funds can simply jump into one with no driver training or analysis of ability. Not sure if you have driven one yet (outside the channel) but it would be interesting to see and hear your thoughts on this v's an Merc A45s.

One i missed in November when you filmed this - we were moving house, The Audi -what a beast -love it , epic location , roads , i would think about a swap my mini JCW for this-? BUT---- TBH with all the options on my Mini i came in at 40k , you say-{ Well actually Audi does}, this is technically worth 20k more than my clubman? it just isn't! No no no , for that reason i am out!
I bought my Mrs a ‘21 TTRS as a daily and I am feeling the urge to get the RS3 as mine.
That is the first car on my list after my lottery win.............................. Not worried so much about oversteering, just love that 5 pot noise.. Takes me back to my first Quattro all those years ago..
