- Bound was playing solo, so nothing too crazy. He pulled a champ player though, but with a equal teammate it would have been a complete different story. Still a ok gameplay with a nice +10 spread.

Halo 5 realmente fue un gran juego.
Es una gran pena que se haya acabado.
Halo Infinite es, con mucho, el Halo más aburrido para mí.
whats the point of playing on a mouse and keyboard with third party hardware not native to the game? I'm sure its not the only reason you're good, no doubts you'd play great on controller too. Isn't the beauty of Halo in the tricky balance of left and right stick aiming, different controller sensitivity strength/weaknesses and their playstyles, trying to counter strafes and catch somebody on the same "plane" with a shot via your thumbstick etc. The reason you catch so much flack is because using MK gives you a completely different tool to use as an obvious advantage, that negates all other players strategies and personal finesse-y split second thumbstick control decisions. I understand its just a game, but I just find it silly you post videos showing competitive play against non MK players... whats the point?
I get that you're transparent about it but its kind of cringe that when you include high level player names in your title, or "EU Pro" etc. Subtle flex that just doesn't seem to come off right when you're literally using an optical sensor controlled by your wrist versus everyone else using two thumb sticks. Idk man its interesting to see how it plays a few times but it just removes all of the magic from controller gaming, and the way it was meant to (and quite literally designed) to be played. You could call that an opinion, but with the speed of 5, the thrust shot ping pong style countering, the tricky smart scope zoom/knock out of zoom/re zoom longer distance type of fights, its just a fundamentally different way to control your reticle that gives a clear mechanical advantage. Its not a different "tool", its an exclusive, modified way of aiming that other players don't have that changes gameplay, its cheating.

For me i just want to use the best tool possible, and that's just not a controller. For me a mouse is the standard to play FPs, no matter if it's native supported by Xbox or not. And that's where i want to use my time to get good with.
I totally agree that if a tournament organizer decides to only allow controllers in a tourney, then there should be no m&k players, but for online it's absolute fine since it's a device that is allowed.
There are plenty of other things, that give you a competitve advantage over the default hardware you get from xbox, like controllers with paddles, headsets, monitors and recently the new Xbox Series X, that cost you like 700$ on ebay, cuz you literally can't buy it anywhere else + these 700$ you invest are only usefull for a few months until Halo Infinite comes to PC.
And most of the top tier players invested in this new Xbox and they are mostly playing against xbox one players, who are on a significant disadvantage, since the new Xbox has less input delay & heavy aim. But guess everyone is fine with that, but gets butthurt because someone plays on a input device that they prefer and is allowed by MS.
If we talk about a even playing ground, then everyone should play on their couch on their normal tv, using a standard ms headset + controller.
My opinion about what's right is, that the framework of the game should be the same for everyone. Other then that it's your choice what input device, monitors, controllers, headsets or whatever you use. I'm not a fan of controller players getting aimassist on PC over m&k players aswell. (taking about different games and the the future of Halo) For me using a worse input device shouldn't justify getting a advantage to compensate. You don't have that in CS or Valorant e.g.
But you know, in the end it's all opinion. It's a topic with lot of mixed opinion, and therefore not even worth discussing anymore, since this discussion is going on since forever without any results.
@@sSickyI just think its a pretty apparent major advantage to have reticle control with all 4 fingers, and your thumb, and your wrist, when everyone else plays with a single thumb.
Latency doesn't give you that kind of mechanical advantage lol. I'd rather play somebody on a Series X versus a modified mouse apparatus. Pretty sure everyone else would agree. Just look at the octagon video does a series X do that?
It just ruins the synergy or difficulty of aiming with two sticks that everyone has to juggle, it ruins sens matchups like an aggressive player thrusting into a difficult close up position to overwhelm a lower sens, but perhaps more accurate mid/longrange player.
Its not a ported cross platform shooter, and you just chose mk, its a 3rd party device that lets you move your reticle with precision over an entire mousepad vs EVERYONE else levering a 1 inch thumb stick in a 1 inch radius. You're just kidding yourself if you compare that kind of obvious precise mechanical advantage to latency or a headset.
@@theterricsTV it's considered cheating in a tournament. Elevate just got busted and disqualified for a player using the xim. Ontop of that, it was a smurf account. Nobody even knows who the player was.
It's cool that this guys transparent about what he uses, but of course...you gotta look at it a certain way when you know someone has that advantage. You explained it very well. It's not about hating on the guy.....it's just stating what's right in front of you. There's a break down of what happened In the elevate match and it illustrates why such a device is just significantly advantageous over a set of thumbsticks...to the point that it's given the title "cheating".
There's all sorts of accessories that are sold to augment the stability of analog sticks...idk if any of those would be considered cheating. A mouse is obviously overkill in comparison to someone using control freaks....a longer stick...those foam rings. Its just on a completely different level of advantage. He isn't wrong about it being the best tool, but in the context you're speakin about your points are 100% valid.

Bien jugado, Bound es un gran adversario.
Sí, solo Bound es un profesional y extremadamente bueno en Halo 5. Camul también es un buen jugador, pero por supuesto no al nivel de Bound.

I know you played solo, i mentioned it in the description.
You both put up a good fight and despite you didn't have a lot of kills, you still put up good damage and assists.
It was just a decent gameplay of me against a really good player with a decent teammate aswell, what i felt was worth sharing. These uploads have nothing to do with discrediting you in any way or acting like i'm better.
It's for entertaining purpose and to have some content on my channel.
I'm fully aware that Bound is way better then me and that we had a advantage, since we were playing in a 2 with comms.
And i'm not really playing alot either. I haven't played that much Halo 5 at all and specially recently i'm barely playing at all.
