One extra comment, not only does Bocelli have a range comparable o any tenor, his tone is the most beautiful I've heard. Pavarotti and all the rest are not as joyful to listen to. What a timeless gift.
This rendition is actually the version of Jose Carreras which made me fall inlove with West Side Story Andreas voice is so damn beautiful i envy the most since i first listen to his entire album Sogno. His voice doesn't age still at his prime.

The contrast between "LOUD" music and _soft_ praying was especially well done, and holding on to the final "riiiii" for, like, two or three days -- perfect. I tubed to a dozen different versions of Maria today. I was afraid I'd *_have_* to make my own recording. Now I can relax. ;-)
