As a Real Madrid fan I hope he can have a full recovery soon and he will get all the proper attention he needs to help him get healthy. It sucks when any player gets an ACL injury.

@@josephchavez9525Yeah like Xavi’s career was over when he tore his ACL in 2005 as well right? ACLs are mostly extremely dangerous to players that relies on pace for their game this is why it affected Ansu so badly. We’ve seen players more similar to Gavi come back from this kind of injury before and I think Gavi will be able to recover from it as well just look at Florian Wirtz as an example btw.
We just lost Gavi, one of our main men of the squad for a long time. Sad. 😢 May he come back stronger. That's unfortunate for him and his career and for us, as well.

I saw it happen and I started crying because I knew what it would mean. As a doctor dealing with ACL surgeries I know how hard this is on the patients and their environment. He's still young and should be able to recover well but will he be able to play fearless in the way that we know him? I don't know and I'm honestly worried

Oh my god! I hope he makes a full recovery and comes back the player he was. Too often, players are never the same after an ACL injury. I am really worried for him now. Hopefully, he gets the best treatment and doesn't rush his recovery.

For midfielders in general it’s not really a career ender btw. ACLs are mostly dangerous to players that thrives on pace. We’ve seen midfielders like Xavi and Florian Wirtz come back from ACLs Gavi will as well dw.
This is truly devastating news. Gavi is such a crucial player for Barca with the tenacity and intensity he brings to midfield. I really hope he is able to recover fully and return to being the player he was pre injury. It really angers me when young players are played too much and they get injured because their bodies are denied the rest they clearly deserve. The RFEF has a terrible record in this regard and I wish there was some kind of legal action Barca could take to force the RFEF to stop harming the club’s key assets

Terrible news indeed, he’s carried our midfield when we needed him most, now that Pedri and frenkie are returning I hope they’ll alleviate his loss. Seriously I’m gonna miss his fierceness and energy, he gave us one hell of a streak. It’s a cringey comparison but he really does play like a spanish Kante, his energy will be missed, only Araujo has that similar passion
I pray not only for a great recovery, but that Gavi won't let this get on his mind once he is back.

The fact that we just went 6 months without Pedri and will now have to go 6 months without Gavi is CRIMINAL. Neither player has been handled correctly and Xavi has some blame to shoulder but he had no one else but Gavi so I can understand Xavi playing him more. I can't understand Gavi playing 488 minutes in Euro qualifying, almost 3/4 of those minutes played with a 3 or 4 goal lead.

Sure, Gavi is good but now you have Gundogan, Pedri on the sides, Oriol in the center and soon Frenkie will come back.

@notnotnownow9622 Romeu is a disaster and yes I love watching Gavi play, especially together with Pedri. We've been robbed of that at a crucial moment. Not to mention without Gavi, we lose so much of our midfield desire and pressing and he's starting to get better at end product, too. I hope he's back for April but if not then at least for The last 5 or 6 matches altogether and then Euro 2024 with Spain but now this injury calls into question whether he should be rushed back for that tournament....it's screwed everything up. That's what bothers me. Yes it is a tragedy because it was so avoidable.

Gavi doesn't solve your problem and everybody is avoiding this - he is not a real pivot, not a CDM and you can't actually play Pedri - Gavi - Frenkie, Gavi mainly plays instead of Pedri on the left.
I think he would be great in a double pivot system next to Frenkie, like line:
Lewa
Felix - Pedri/Gundogan - Raphinha
Gavi - Frenkie
Balde - Araujo - Kounde - Cancelo

La liga is shooting itself in the foot. All these games are being played while they demand teams to pay their players less, and still have lower salary caps. Even real madrid are suffering from being overplayed, actually insane.
I am recovering from my acl. Got injured in April and wouldn’t play till April of 2024. It’s gonna be rough news for gavi but if I can make it he can do it!
Could really throw off our season if the dressing room doesn’t stay strong. Gavi being one of the focal points in terms of quality and pushing the team with his leadership could be a massive blow.

I don`t know what is worse, him getting injured and suffering as a player, and going through a lot stuff in these upcoming months trying to get back and suffering even more.
Or the fact that Barca lost one of the most important players in our squad, the kid that did it all, covered midfield, attack, defence, and on top of that put a lot of pressure on opposing teams and regularly stealing and intercepting their balls, we will totally miss him for the rest of the season.
Barca must do something about International Matches, Barca board must do a better job and start pressuring National Teams to let their players rest, especially in the games that are not important, this injury was totally avoidable.
Unfortunately, we'll keep seeing these type of injuries all because of Fifa's greed

I don't think I've ever seen a player come back stronger from an ACL injury but maybe Gavi has it in him, he's still very young so at least that's on his side, also injury care is much better than before.
Oyarzabal? Florian Wirtz? There are many examples out there. Gavi won’t be affected as badly since he’s not a player who relies on pace. This is why Ansu was so affected by his ACL injury btw.
@@Eruma_27 Nearly all examples are of the opposite though. Gavi relies on being able to run non stop, do hard tackles, and jump very high, which are all intensive on the knee. Also the chances of a recurrence are high once it happens. Ansu never suffered an ACL injury, it was his meniscus. Anyway only time will tell how he comes back, and hopefully he can still perform at the level he was at or close to it. It's a horrible situation.
@@comment15Oyarzabal is literally in the form of his life atm and looks better than ever Wirtz same thing and then you have the likes of Xavi and Totti as well from the past. Believe me an ACL to a player of Gavi’s character won’t end his career he’s not a pace merchant.

Very sorry for my star player Gavi. Like it's being elaborated by Barcelona FC, there was no need for Gavi to play that match yesterday, Spain haven already qualified and topped their group.
However, Gavi is very young and therefore his bones will heal very fast and we all hope and wish that his recovery goes on very fast for him to quickly return to the team soonest.
The last time a midfieder torns his ACL(Xavi,december 2005), Barca won the CL

I'm fuming with anger. I already hated international play, with the boring games and dramatic level compared to club football, and now it has ruined the career of a key player of my favorite club. 🤬
