for those that arent well versed in these types of fps cheats, when he is spinbotting and looking at the ground, he is actually in third person view. The spinning is called Anti-Aim, and is a cheat that makes it so your player view model avoids player angles, it achieves this by constantly spinning so fast that if you were to shoot where his head or any limb it would miss. Of course the rest of his cheats is just aimbot, some chatter early in the vid said that spinbot makes it so you hit all headshots even if you cant see the enemy, this is false. Spinbot is just anti aim and 3rd person view combined. Most cheaters use silent aim that makes it so the bullets will hit without moving your actual crosshair. This is not silent aim, this is hard aimbot, his mouse flicks to all the shots so that means he does at least need to see the enemy to hit them, different to what that chatter said. Also the audio distortion happens when he spins really quick because youre watching in first person, so it ruins the surround sound and you get all those sound bugs that youre hearing when spectating him, he does not hear these because his surround sound stays normal when in 3rd person. But I know ML7 seemed confused about a lot of stuff happening here, maybe this explains it to everyone else with the same questions

16:20 this person's comment is correct - I believe in one of flat's or jay3's cheater videos they explained how these types of cheats work - they can walk in the direction they want even while spinning cause they're in third person mode, which is why they have no problems with the spinning - if you watch him from third person mode you'll see that his pov isn't as jarring

That's not a thing for a while. IPs are not static (i.e. they can change on every connection) and aren't guaranteed to be assigned to a single person (i.e. multiple people can "share" the same public IP). Banning an IP could result in unexpected situations. What you probably mean is "hardware banning", but still very complex as it's not guaranteed either, given that a motivated cheater could easily bypass it... Still I think Blizzard has come a long way with identifying and banning cheaters. It could be just me but I've noticed far less hardcore cheaters in streamings since OW2. On OW1 it used to be a plague, to the point that it wasn't rare to see streamers rolling around the map bc they agreed to draw due to a cheater.

Most toxic and the worst players I've ever encountered in ow are arabs (From KSA) Don't get me wrong but 99% of them are like this (I have an arab friend which we play together and he agrees with this) About 9 months ago blizzard added a Bahrain server and MAN IT WAS AWFUL. Every game was disaster. Bad players, cheaters, toxic behavior, racism and so on.... So glad they closed the Bahrain server for good.

For the sake of Knowledge Spinbotting basically is just for the show of "haha look I'm cheating", functionally it's the same as an aimbot, but because of the spinning it can be way stronger because it doesn't have to care about "looking realistic". On the cheater's end, they're not spinning at all, so they can move just fine. You can see how after the cheater swaps to Cass the aim is no longer soft and kinda invisible like with Ashe, but rather just hard-locking onto heads with no care Also, the cheater sucks, but I find the enemy team far more pathetic for not owning up to the draw and just taking a free win

Like what is the point of spin bot over normal aimbot? Does it do something to the characters hitbox to spin like that or something. Like I don't get cheating at all but this seems to make things even harder than necessary if you are going to cheat.
ok so this is pretty interesting, there are types of aimbot. The normal aimbot or in other words "aimlock" is just a program that looks thru the data sent to your PC and puts your crosshair at the exact xyz coordinates of the enemy and/or friendly players when you press a certain button or automatically as soon as they are within your line of sight. That is it. Spinbots on the hand are essentially fully automated where you don't have to anything except use WASD to move around, it locks on, shoots and works as an anti aim fully automatically. ( anti aim is when it fu*ks with your hitbox by spinning and crouching so the other cheaters are less likely to kill you) so spinbot is the full package, but it is obviously very easy to detect. edit: Also your actual screen doesn't look spinny to you, those spins are just commands sent to the server but not executed locally on your PC, so that you can still see and control the character.

if OW’s anti-cheat actually worked as people expected and the game was cancelled, there wouldn’t be a need to hope that the enemy team has enough morality to draw the game.
They cancel out any SR gained or lost by playing with or against a banned cheater. At least I’m pretty sure, because that’s what the message says when a cheater is banned mid game

KSAA and YZNSA winning after agreeing on a draw is some of the least human behaviour i have ever seen in any game
Really disgusting for the enemy team to steal the win here when your whole team (minus the cheater of course) was blatantly trying to draw. If they had been attacking in 1st round, I wonder how this game would have ended... Well at least I don't seem to be alone in being annoyed by this lack of integrity shown. Actually pathetic.

That's not a thing for a while. IPs are not static (i.e. they can change on every connection) and aren't guaranteed to be assigned to a single person (i.e. multiple people can "share" the same public IP). Banning an IP could result in unexpected situations. What you probably mean is "hardware banning", but still very complex as it's not guaranteed either, given that a motivated cheater could easily bypass it... Still I think Blizzard has come a long way with identifying and banning cheaters. It could be just me but I've noticed far less hardcore cheaters in streamings since OW2. On OW1 it used to be a plague, to the point that it wasn't rare to see streamers rolling around the map bc they agreed to draw due to a cheater.
idk the other players but considering Yzn and Ksaa's following, agreeing to draw and then try hard for the win KNOWING they're on ML's stream is scummy and embarrassing.

About 9 months ago blizzard added a Bahrain server and MAN IT WAS AWFUL.
Every game was disaster.
Bad players, cheaters, toxic behavior, racism and so on....
So glad they closed the Bahrain server for good.
the audacity that they think they could beat a cheater is crazy. He single handed took down their entire team multiple times if they were to try on offense they would have gotten ROLLED.
Ynza is like that one time me and one of my teammates are the victim of deranker people, and we both asked for a draw, we both didn't even do sheet but still got killed by all the enemy team just because they want to get good stats, it pisses me off cause we cannot even do anything since only two of us vs 5 people

Spinbotting basically is just for the show of "haha look I'm cheating", functionally it's the same as an aimbot, but because of the spinning it can be way stronger because it doesn't have to care about "looking realistic". On the cheater's end, they're not spinning at all, so they can move just fine. You can see how after the cheater swaps to Cass the aim is no longer soft and kinda invisible like with Ashe, but rather just hard-locking onto heads with no care
Also, the cheater sucks, but I find the enemy team far more pathetic for not owning up to the draw and just taking a free win
The fact that someone can cheat this hard and the system doesn't detect it and automatically ban them is pathetic.

Like what is the point of spin bot over normal aimbot? Does it do something to the characters hitbox to spin like that or something. Like I don't get cheating at all but this seems to make things even harder than necessary if you are going to cheat.
ok so this is pretty interesting, there are types of aimbot.
The normal aimbot or in other words "aimlock" is just a program that looks thru the data sent to your PC and puts your crosshair at the exact xyz coordinates of the enemy and/or friendly players when you press a certain button or automatically as soon as they are within your line of sight. That is it.
Spinbots on the hand are essentially fully automated where you don't have to anything except use WASD to move around, it locks on, shoots and works as an anti aim fully automatically. ( anti aim is when it fu*ks with your hitbox by spinning and crouching so the other cheaters are less likely to kill you)
so spinbot is the full package, but it is obviously very easy to detect.
edit: Also your actual screen doesn't look spinny to you, those spins are just commands sent to the server but not executed locally on your PC, so that you can still see and control the character.

Don't get me wrong my explanation is by no means comprehensive and there are SO MUCH extra information about how *exactly* spinbots oporate that I wouldn't even know where to start or even understand them fully myself, but it should cover the general most surface level differences.

I kind of like seeing people win against cheaters but then at that point it's just positioning, game sense and team work that wins it which isn't fair for the cheater's team (who's probably got plat game sense max and doesn't cooperate). Also everyone knows YZNSA is literally one of the best DPS in the game and I like how he shows it off with all his alt accounts (because it's funny) but he's kinda cringe this game ngl. He's addicted to seeing the Victory screen after every match lol.
For someone who plays with Kragie, the streaming cheater, saying you have never seen a cheater in OW2 is such a massive tell you should probably take this video down.
