Historically San Francisco was a Spanish population. With many desendants of those Californio's who still live in California. Those who had land Grants had them systematically taken from them when the United States invaded the New barely established Country of Mexico. Land taken by land taxes and an average of fifteen years in U.S. courts trying to prove their ownership. Give those original European settlers who had their lands stolen the five million in reparations. They came and settled California in 1775. Long before anyone from the United States came.
You might not want that history looked into too hard. Those folks were white too and killed lots of native and owned slaves. Mexico definitely has no moral high ground compared to the USA.

I was on a Native American reservation talking to one of their leaders. They got alot of money from a fancy casino built on their land. This man said "What happens when you give alot of money to people who have never had any?" He told me: it went for high end trucks, designer crap, new homes they didnt know how to take care of- and alcohol. Lots of that.

Only 4% of the population owned slaves - some slave owners were black and slaves were all colors. Slavery was exported from Africa to the americas with the exception of natives holding other natives. So, how the hell do reparations address these issues. They don’t, reparations extend persecution.

Historically San Francisco was a Spanish population. With many desendants of those Californio's who still live in California. Those who had land Grants had them systematically taken from them when the United States invaded the New barely established Country of Mexico. Land taken by land taxes and an average of fifteen years in U.S. courts trying to prove their ownership. Give those original European settlers who had their lands stolen the five million in reparations. They came and settled California in 1775. Long before anyone from the United States came.

You might not want that history looked into too hard. Those folks were white too and killed lots of native and owned slaves. Mexico definitely has no moral high ground compared to the USA.
Agree, but with one caveat. Mexico’s congress screwed up massively after the Texian revolution in trying to stop US annexation. Everyone else saw the writing on the wall, but their congress was stubborn to the point that they thought picking a fight with the US over it was a good idea. California would be Mexico still if they had not dwelled on Tejas.
