Cold War may not be my cup of tea, or very mechanically sound in some aspects, but nonetheless I really enjoy seeing you guys exploit and explore this game love the old halo vids btw ;)

As far as I can tell, DTH's most common complaint of Cold War is that "nothing happens," aka shit doesn't usually get wonky when they try to break the game. What that really means is that the Treyarch devs are apparently better at covering edge cases in the game logic compared to Infinity Ward with CoD2019 and Warzone.
Naturally DTH wants shit to break because that's their whole niche.

@@maveric401 it's less that they want stuff to break. They want more things to interact with eachother in cool ways like in modern warfare.
@@nathand4118 it sounds like a waste of time for developers, the core aspects of the game should always be the focus as the core audience does not notice, or care that the game has bullet physics, only that the game is nearly 200 gigs. Games are designed to be played, not for youtubers to milk out their 20th “Attention to detail in X Game” video

Myth: You can survive being burned by the flamethrower if you jump in water
Also as you can see at 4:01 if you slow it down to 0.25 the tomahawk stays on the ffar when the execution starts
Your myth is literally in the video
Myth: You can survive an execution by throwing a tomahawk to a wall so it bounces and hits the enemy, therefore canceling the execution.
I love how they change the sound effect when they are underwater

Myth: What’s the worst attachments possible, something that is comically bad. I’ve seen a sniper that takes over a second to aim in or make the bullet velocity noticeably slow and having to aim ahead this would test some of the attachments and see if they even make a difference and apparently the recoil on a gun can be inverted and you need to pull up, I don’t see how that is possible (Coldwar or Warzone)
Thats not really a myth
They copied the code from the Purifier from BO3 for how it reacts to water, it's just a fency (not fancy) Purifier

@wemwem cuz treyarch only had 1 year to work on this game cuz sledgehammer was supposed to make cod 2020 then just died halfway thru and treyarch had to scramble to replace them, and the entire year treyarch had to work on this game was covid lockdowns so they were restricted

the first thing we did with the tank was take it through the rift on the edge of the map and it took the tank all the way across. give that a shot??
Wait so when destroying the napalm jet does the napalm still effect the same area as if it wasn't destroyed or does the destruction of the jet change the placement of napalm?
Myth: if you go to the map at the exact time being executed (warzone), the execution gets buggy
I actually saw this execution where animations were missing (characters t-posing) in which the person being executed put out the map at the exact same time the execution started
The tomahawk dropped when the person being executed dropped their gun in the animation! It kind of glitched onto the barrel of the gun, so if I had to guess it just acts like the gun being dropped and does nothing, but I don't think you throw it.
I liked the editing for when you two were underwater.
I don't understand why they were surprised with the interactions between the flamethrower and water, Treyarch just turned a specialist weapon into a scorestreak. Those same interactions happened on BO3 and BO4.

MYTH: If you throw a tomahawk and it bounces off a wall, it can kill someone trying to execute you.
With the destroying the napalm, it looked like to me you destroyed one plane before it dropped the napalm, but the other plane dropped it
Myth: when trying to destroy the napalm strike...try using the air patrol..I destroyed a napalm strike before it dropped the bombs...but I think another kill streak should be active in order to destroy the napalm strike so that the air patrol can come in early

Myth: You can get throwing knifed in war zone with full plates (not die), pull the throwing knife out of your body and throw it back and kill the person who threw it at you (no plates)

Can you kill with the flamethrower underwater? In black ops 3, it did the same thing as this game, but if you got right up to somebody you could still kill them. You just had to be licking distance from the enemy.

myth: if you go fas enough in. vehicle etc, you can grapple for ever when attached to vehicle
I saw one video on facebook, would love to see this tested. How hard it is to jump on a car coming towards you, with enemy inside. On video that I saw person literally climbed on oncoming car.
you can grapple to the rocket from the mission in outbreak but not for very long

The visual effect of the flamethrower under the water is the same of black ops 4 with the purifier.

With the tomahawk execution thing, what if u timed it perfectly so u can bounce the tomahawk off a wall n hit the executioner whist the animation is happening , might be a little hard that one but iv seen u do harder am sure :)

As cool as vehicles off jump pads is...it is just more no fun allowed seeing as it fucking deletes them regardless of hitting the skybox or not. They have a bullshit code of: if vehicle launches on jump pad, delete vehicle. Myth: Activision doesn't know what fun is. Confirmed.

I already tried it, you actually can, if your in a party and you get in the chopper and the rest of your members don’t get on, you’ll just sit in the chopper, and your members will just have to clear the area while you just sit in the chopper waiting for them to finish up.
This is confirmed there's vids of it on reddit, you can also grab onto the dragon rocket as it's taking off and fly up
Try and grapple the dragon or a missile as it flys up (its fun)
Myth: you can graple on the outbrake missle once you have completed the mission retrieve
I know you can grapple the dragon rocket when it takes off. But I'm unsure about the retrieval rocket during take off, or the secure rockets while they are landing.

They maybe delayed the flamethrower so long because of it unique detailed "features" compared to everything else. Wouldn't suprise me
I found little glitch 😃. You can grapple to exfil helicopter before you kill all zombies and sit on it. Try it 👍

I THINK the reason why cold war is not as realistic as we thought is because the people wanted cold war to release already and bc of c0r0n@, they had less staff. I'm not sure tho I said I THINK
Myth warzone can you throw a loadout drop out of vehicles (in the passenger seat) eg bike, tac rover, helicopter and suv not the cargo truck because there is only one seat.
But what if you actually managed to land the grapple after the vehicle hits the bounce pad?
I haven't played Cold War lastly but now that I look at the flamethrower it looks impressive, I really like it, definitely if they gave 1 or 2 years more of development, Cold War would be an awesome game

The throwing knife defence only works on certain animations in MW19. It was never a counter in general. It just drops the knife. Same happens when you have a frag in pocket.
You shouldn't expect the tomahawk to work in general either.
Flamethrower on land: _Devastating and can cause mass damage_
Flamethrower underwater: Blowtorch
The flamethrower's texture underwater might be realistic because flamethrowers actually send out hot oil first
9:01 maybe the grapple got disrupted, because the bike flew out of line of sight. So maybe try it again and try to look at the bike the whole time

9:00 you might have gotten too close maybe? (to where it lets you get off the grapple), grapple right before he launches
You can go on rebirth Island take the jeep on shore drive it off the cliff by the watch tower and it will stay there on top of the water
