OYO in Indonesia has done a lot of fraudulent acts to their vendors, customers, and lately their ow employees.
As summarized in an interview by TagarTV :
Vendors : promised to give minimal income guarantee but never gave it back, Difficulties in disbursing payment, etc
Customers : selling non-ready properties, delaying and denying refunds, editing photos to make it like it's a nice property in which in actuality, it is not
Employees : creating unpaid leave scandal where they put people in 'temporary' unpaid leave in order not to be exempt from "parting money" (pesangon, a compulsory money given to fired employees).
The management purposely performed big fraudulent acts in order to expand the market. OYO indonesia has booked several billion IDR loss in 2019 and was made worse by the corona effect
Long list of "real problems" for him to solve 1:12
April 2020:
1. #OYO assigns random managers to inform us, employees, to go on furlough forcefully. No other option is given.
2. The send a mail to us stating we (employees)have opted voluntarily for LWLP, which wasn't the case. They fooled the media and poor employees.
3. There was no explanation given whatsoever to any employee who was thrown out in such tough situations.
4. People who had a work day in and out for this organization right from day one were asked to go on #furlough.
4 Sept 2020:
This time OYO CEO Rohit Kapoor informs on a zoom call in a one-sided interaction to either take a 1-month salary and leave.
Or else wait for another 6 months after waiting for 4 months without a salary.
Basically, my way or the high way!

Youngest and biggest scammers in the world, almost 99% hotel and room that listed on oyo are either nonexistent or have been cut off from partnership from oyo because their predator policy, but the problem is the hotels are still listed on oyo platform,so if you had already booked it say goodbye to your money, because oyo offer NO REFUND, of course there's "refund" button for legal purpose but even after you clicked it and they turned you're "refund" money to oyo point/cash (which is worthless and cant be used for ANY PURPOSE).

Oyo is fraud, they have changed their policy, yesterday I checked into oyo room in gurugram, it was very very dirty, and environment was like it was brothel, boy and girls took 1 room for 3-4 hours that girl was call girl anybody can clearly tell... I immediately left that room, but oyo took all my money 4,460 and not ready to return.

Worst experience ever. Booked and paid online but when reached hotel with family they denied Room. Struggled with family in the evening to get another hotel. Called customer care several times but no one helped. Also they have not refunded my advance amount. By this Oyo got the money without doing anything.
