Hi hi. The LV cosmetic pouch in GM can be converted by adding large circular rings or extra large d-rings to each side under the canvas folds and then attaching a chain to each ring. ☺️
EXACTLY. It's convertible. I've watched quite a few videos showing how to do it on the new GM release. -I'm really thinking about buying it.

Hey Dani! Actually prior to knowing about the LV shoe kit I was like this is definately a case of reverse duping LOL the designer house copying the fast fashion trend, i think they then realised after the fact that they we already have this pattern in our archives that we can tweak haha

I have the original 15 and 19 toiletry bags for about 30 years. I also have the Trousse 28, which has also been discontinued. My, oh, my, is that trousse really heavy and bulky, especially when it's filled. And I don't take nearly as much as many other people do when they travel. The nice thing about the Trousse 18, 23, and 28 is that there's no vacchetta, so it's OK to leave on a bathroom counter. Yes, the Nice collection is nice, but I once travelled with a train case and thought it was cumbersome. It's probably OK if you're driving, but flying, not then and definitely not now. I collect pouches from various makes, but I honestly think the Louis Vuitton ones are way overpriced considering how little leather there is, if any. Gucci is better priced, but it was my first luxury purchase. I was so bored with it, I couldn't wait for it to be worn out so I could get rid of it! I regret that now, but it's done. I sitll have a Gucci tote bag, coin purse, and planner that's a bit larger than the LV PM planner, but much easier to use.

Like you, i love that the trousse doesnt have vachetta. I like looking at the nice vanities but i dont think ill ever buy one. The gucci cosmetic bags seem like great value!

Outrageously expensive these toiletry bags! I already have mine I have a lovely Oroton one that has a kind of retro pattern with geological rocks printed on the canvas. $60 on sale a few years ago. Or I have a Morabito monogram canvas and leather I got on eBay for AUD $10 plus postage. It's wonderful vintage piece but I haven't used it. I prefer the Oroton design it's so good.
It's important to keep any items that might stain in plastic ziplock bags. Just don't stain your bags or wait for disaster to happen. That's just me though...Good topic.
Hello Deborah! Yes they are very very pricey! I'll just stick to my non branded one. The shape and design i find very easy to use and practical! I just used it for a 1 week trip and loved being able to see all my items from a birds eye view. I love the old Oroton stuff! Ive got the old first class cosmetic bag ! Yes the ziplock bag idea is great!
No I wouldn't pay that for a cosmetic bag.... I really like the ones they give away on first class flights (not that I fly first class but people often sell them on eBay) I have a couple of nice bulk buys of cosmetic bags and even though I look after my handbags my cosmetic bags always end up stained and a bit beaten around
Hello Julie! Merideth just unboxed the cosmetic bag on her channel so I finally got to see the real deal on camera, it looked pretty good however I will stick to my unbranded one. I have that old oroton first class one that I got from the vinnies that I use as a passport holder. I do really like this design for a cosmetic bag, its super practical but Im fine with my unbranded one. I actually got a personalised unbranded one with my name embroidered, I love personalised things even more than designer things so thats even more special for me! But yeah id never be able to look after it well enough so i need something i wont feel bad about when i muck it up haha
