- PZEM-004T is all in one power sensors module. It has a Voltage sensor, current sensor, frequency sensor, power factor, power, and energy meter.
In this video, we are going to learn how to use this sensor with Arduino and NodeMCU and also make a simple wattmeter.

Hello, I just purchased one pzem004t 100A module for my college project, it measure voltage and current correct but in pure resistive load it shows 0.05 power factor, could anyone please guide me what is the problem? And how can I solve it?
I have the same issue, don’t know how to resolve it. Did you already figured out?
Recheck the code there are some flaws

But I need to Detect Leading or Lagging powerfactor. Can I do this with PZEM004T?

No, you can use pzem 017 for DC

Use arduino mega or use multiplexer

Is the value measured in Pzem004t in seconds or minutes? Because I have 209 volts, 0.032 amps. And if that's hourly, it's almost hourly Doing 500 watts

I still get Nan message when running the code and the sensor. But, there is something different between my voltage source. I use dimmer instead of Main AC, like shown in the diagram to control a heater. Could that be the cause? Thanks in advance

Try using serial2 pins for the PZEM

How about for three phase supply?
You can use three sensors. But since this sensor only able to measure 260V max. You should measure phase to neutral.

Were you connect the sensor to main AC?
Check if the tx pin from pzem is connected to rx pin of esp and rx pin of pzem to tx in of esp. Also check the baud rate
