Его поведение (патрулирование забора) говорит о стрессе. Он не собака, у него иное устройство психики. Запашный рассказывал особенности и отличия дрессуры высших кошачьих. Неудачная идея привести его в овчарню, хотя хозяевам виднее 🤷♂️

Посмотрите видео Рыбалтовского - известного зоолога, натуралиста, который ездил в большой питомник частный, где есть пумы. К ним в вольер ПО ДВОЕ заходят. Мало того, пум обычно не берут в цирки, так как их трудно дрессировать, в отличие от тигров и львов. С какой стати то вы тут пришли и обесцениваете то?

Haha, the yellow Labrador Retriever is so happy to see the puma. My family owned a yellow retriever when I was young, and they are always friendly dogs ( as long as you don't try to take their food 😂).

Yes I agree and felt he was not enjoying it all, if anything Messi would have felt quite threatened by the pack of dogs harassing him, which I think is why he was just focusing on a way through the fence.

Animals show stress in different ways. Although he may appear to have composure, his pacing is a sign of stress.
He was definitely stressed, but because people have dogs it is good to make sure he experiences that stress under controlled conditions from time to time. You wouldn't want him to suddenly get really badly spooked because someone's dog was too pushy. Also, because there's no manual for training pumas, you want to have lots of ways of keeping an eye on his temperament.

Фантастически социальный! Возможно, это следствие тяжелых болезней, которые у него были в детстве. Люди так часто и долго его спасали, что у него за это время развилось полное доверие и нет никакой агрессии ни к кому. Даже надоедливые эмоциональные собаки не вызывают у него желание шлёпнуть их лапой, чтобы отогнать. Месси - это такой подарок! Я за вас по-настоящему рада! Счастья вам и здоровья!
Саша в одном из видео расказывал, что работники (от куда его забирали) зоопарка прямо сказали, что он (месси) очень контактный, без малейшего намёка на агрессию.
Уникальное животное.
Есть видео где показывается как Месси приучали к обществу собак. Ему подобрали команду из уже послушных и очень лояльных собак, где ему можно было все, он освоился и начал привыкать, что агрессии со стороны собак нет и сам ее перестал проявлять. То что Месси таткой это частично генетика, плюс среда в которой он оказался, плюс длительные тренировки.

Он сканирует пространство на предмет возможной опасности или добычи. И это не его территория. Налицо проявление стратегии выживания дикого животного. И это не истребить никаким воспитанием. А для собак он не пахнет псинкой и это их озадачивает. Месси как все кошки впитывает запахи дома и собакам это странно, слишком он уж домашний кот.

Amazing to watch Messi. A very intelligent cat. It has always amazed me that cats will always pace a fence if they can see through it. They hate "perceived" confinement. If they cannot see through it they are content and will explore their immediate surroundings willingly.

Fascinating how interested in Messi the dogs are, and yet Messi is so unfazed by them. All of that scrutiny by the dogs, and he still remains non-aggressive. He is truly extraordinary.
From the time Messi got in the training area all he did was walk the fence and go back to the entrance gate. He wanted OUT! I think one day if he gets the chance he may bolt and run away. He did not look like he wanted to be there at all. He looks strong minded because he kept refusing the training when clearly he knew what the commands were.
@@Aarticqn It's important because it gets him experience to stress and unfamiliar things he might encounter so that when on a walk he doesn't maul anyone. Also you cannot teach a cat anything, their brain doesnt work that way. The fact he got this far is a miracle and shows what a good owner he is and devotes a lot of love to Messi to make him care about what master wants him to do.
@@MrWolfSnack I don't know about not being able to teach a cat anything. I had cats (domestic) and I trained my eldest one like a dog. She comes on command, lays down, get down, roll over, knows NO, will play with you, does not jump up in your lap unless you instruct her to do so, loves a bath and loves the blow drying and brushing even more. The other one not so much because she was always a difficult cat from when she was little. Then there are the show cats in circuses that perform. They are capable of learning, any animal is because they have a brain. This cat is too humanized and doesn't care to interact with other animals.
I absolutely enjoyed this video. I have had some exotic animals as well as domestic. I have not taken any to be trained. I would have if I had one as good as messi. I am amazed by how sasha handles him. He is so patient and loving no matter the situation and that is why messi has his deep love for Sasha What a special cat.

Those dogs were stressing him out a little, following him and barking at him, and if he'd wanted to, he could have hurt them pretty bad, but he would rather turn the other cheek, as they say. That one white dog wasn't afraid of our favorite cougar. He was like, "Play with me, Messi! Play with me play with me play with me!" But Messi wasn't interested. I wonder if Messi could get used to a dog for a playmate?

It is unbelievable how well Messi behaves in spite of the boystrous behavior of the dogs. He seems very tolerant of the puppy's insistence that he interact with him. I think that Messi likes people better than dogs, probably because he's accustomed to people.
