And FYI , Nepal was part of Aryavarta or even Hindostan !
And there was No India before 1947 , it was divided into Kingdoms , Nepal was one such Kingdoms !
And most of North which united under Gupta Empire in 200AD , then Mauryan Empire around 3000AD , and then After Islamic invasion Mughals around 1400 , then 1800 under British Empire !
And if it wasn't a United country in vedic period(around 300BC) then how come Our Pilgrimages are in different directions ???

For a lot of History the two were the same country. Urdu and Hindu are mutually intelligible languages, the same Ethnic groups like Punjabi, Sihndi, and others exists on both sides of the border. The main difference is religion and politics. I had both Pakistani and Indian students when I was in college explain that to me (though one was Sikh)

But also they are not Hindu or Muslim, and if you read my comment preceding that I wrote "The main difference is religion and politics", Sikhs are a different religion and while part of the Pakistan/India politics, they are not part of the Hindu/Muslim religious divide, I once asked my Sikh friend about it and she explained it to me though it took about 30 minutes.

People should make a video on Sri Lankan food too. I also find Sri Lankan food to be very good but overshadowed by its massive neighbours, India and Pakistan. Its not difficult to find Indian restaurants/Pakistani restaurants but how often do you run across Sri Lankan restaurants. In fact, you can count the number of Sri Lankan restaurants with fingers as they are so rare outside of Sri Lanka. If you do happen to find a Sri Lankan restaurant, its definitely worth trying. Try the Lamprais wrapped in banana leaf. ;-)

Since, Sri Lanka is in close proximity to South India and because they share similar climates and region (coastal regions), South Indian and Sri Lankan food is very similar consisting of ingredients such as coconut milk, fish, rice, banana leaves, etc. The only difference would be the amount of ingredients used. Usually, a Sri Lankan would say they use more spice and more coconut milk in their recipes.

One of the people in the video even clearly states that he can converse by speaking hindi with someone who speaks Urdu and you're still asking what Hindi words are used in Urdu? The English language uses loan words from Latin, French and Spanish, does that mean the language is derived from these languages? No.
Words like Avatar, Trigonometry, Jungle, Bungalow are loan words used in English derived from the Sanskrit/ Hindi language. Does that mean English is derived from Sanskrit/Hindi?
Just because Urdu has a few loan words from Arabic you consider yourself Arab. Urdu has loan words from Turkey as well. Do you consider yourself Turkish now? Your customs/ traditions/ culture have nothing to do with the Arabs nor do the Arab look to Pakistan as even remotely Arab. Every language in the world has loan words. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
The simple reason why Urdu has loan words from Arabic is because Urdu is a muslim language and Islam traces its roots to the Arab world. It's definitely not because your 'culture is more close to the Arabs'. Also, your 'Gul' example is unfounded because Turkey isn't an Arab country. Neither is Turkey nor Pakistan part of the Arab League.
This whole Arab thing you're talking about is just a front to distance yourself from your traditional Indian roots. Fair enough. Whatever helps you sleep at night. You can stop being Indian but you still live in the INDIAN Subcontinent. :)
