Just when I thought Blizzard was doing better with those remasters and reforged, they proceed to screw up with GOG.

The Warcraft 3 re-reforged was actually terrible. It was a cheap AI upscaling that ruined a lot of custom maps.
I love Grubby and his Ork voice. Truly a gem.
yea, he's good at it, he also seems to have quite a number of voice lines memorized

Im glad the game looks better and feels better, but as far as improvements go, they really did the bare minimum. Could have very easily added queues, shift clicks, and rally points.

6:00 lies! There are heroes: Gul'dan, Deathwing, Alleria and Turalyon included! Just that they are specific to the mission, cannot be revived, and are extra powerful versions of regular units, no special abilities.
I never played this i think broodwar was my first intro into RTS

I think the menus look really bad compared to the originals though, even if the game overall looks better. I'm glad people get to play these classic games again.
Expansion is much harder than original game.
Just like Reforged, they're retconning Grom into Grommash.
I've read comments that he's legitimately called Grommash at some point in original warcraft 3 (and I thought for some reason I remember the name Grommash being used at some point well before reforged existed)
@@justanobody0 Mannoroth calls him Grommash in the original Warcraft 3. The idea was that Grommash is his full name, but everyone usually calls him Grom for short.
The most convincing explanation I've heard for the retcons was from GiantGrantGames, who said the following: when Warlords of Draenor introduced an alternate timeline with an alternate version of Grom Hellscream, they decided to always refer to that alternate version as Grommash to differentiate him from the original timeline Hellscream. However, because the original timeline Hellscream was dead at that point, and thus not actively involved in the story, that idea eventually got simplified to just "always call him Grommash", and then this simplification eventually got applied to the original timeline Grom in Reforged (and now also in WC2 Remastered).

and Grom is short for Grommash
just like John is short for Jonathan

Why Blizzard can't get queuing units? Starcraft it's really cool it has everything old school. Warcraft 2 has a Bad remastered.
It's funny as the PlayStation version of this had queueing (and you could do infinite queues too, so it'd just keep making units)!

hero unit dies 5 seconds after you finally start to build one unit to replenish the army you have been grinding down the whole map with 0 production and 12k banked xD
before Grubby played wow, I thought it would've went on Grubbyplays (being very different from warcraft3)
and after wow got onto Grubby channel, I was surprized to see warcraft 2, not only a rts, but the precursor to Grubby's beloved warcraft 3, relegated to Grubby plays
T1 only is more fun.

What's there to be excited about when all the videos on UA-cam show the graphics darker than the original. I do not like these Darker graphics.
