    What can one say - words cannot describe the tragedy that cost lots of lives and injured memories that came out of it - I wonder if our modern generation are made to be aware of it day by day

    My grandfather William Woolcock from 4 Victoria Row was a miner at Geevor ..died 1914

    Toured Geever Mine two weeks ago. Wanted to see the Levant Mine, but ran out of time. Same old story, "Profits Over People's Lives".
