Olivia and Elayna - Adoption Story
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 тра 2019
- In 2002, despite already having three sons, Stephen and Danielle Walker knew their family wasn’t complete. So, they looked into the idea of adoption. Drawn to the Hispanic culture, they began to pursue adoption from El Salvador. However, a road block in the process turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it led them to twin sisters in Guatemala, who were only one month old. Although Steve and Danielle knew that these girls were meant to be their daughters, the obstacles they would have to overcome in order to bring them home would test their faith.
SORRY ABOUT THE MUSIC. I know it's loud but I made this four years ago as a college student and there's nothing I can do about it now. God bless ❤

I had 3 biological children and age 49 I adopted my Nephew. He was 6 months old and his father was my baby brother. He is now 23 years old and I can tell you that from the moment they placed him in my arms, he was my child, no different than if he had come from my womb. I love him more than anything! My brother passed away when my son was 9 years old. He is not only my son, but he is all that is left of my brother. What a wonderful gift from God!
Tears came to my eyes, something has happened like this with me.
Blessed be , it’s all in Gods plan. I cried too, over your special gift.
You're a great Mum ,and love him as your own
I also gave birth to three boys and then adopted two girls, although I raised them as a single mom. Hugs from a Mexican in Montreal.
I just will never understand dislikes on such positive stories.
May be the music...over the voices...
Betty Echols It was the quietest music...
I totally agree 💯. My Aunt adopted 2 kids. Before she passed away not of the coronavirus of course. But she also had biologically kids of her own. 😃. It was just a blessing.🧚♀️🧚♂️.
I'm adopted from India and I'm identical twin too, and seeing this video and the pictures is like watching my own adoption all over again. God bless you!
I am Guatemalan. Thanks for adopting children from Guatemala!!! God bless you both for sharing your love, time and kindness!!
Aww this is beautiful . My uncle and aunt adopted a baby from Guatemala. She is now 16. She's family even though she's not blood . She has grown to be a beautiful teenager . Adopting is wonderful . It gives children a better chance at a good life
Lovely adoptions. We also adopted Twins boys. They’re now in their 30’s . Very loving respectful and caring..
I was adopted it's the best gift you can give a child
@Adoption Sucks Facebook is a toxic platform mabie you hate being adopted everyone I've spoke to dosent mind the people who mind were not adopted with my situation if ur in the uk go on the south wales argus and look up Michael podmoore that is my birth dad if he was yours would would prey for it dont go off what you see on Facebook I've met over a hundred people who loved there adopted lives the ones who dont were adopted at an older age with trauma and found it hard to settle so the adoption wasnt the issue there trauma was
@Adoption Sucks uk adoption dosent unlike the us we rarely adopt outside our own country for a start
@Adoption Sucks being adopted have me the best start to life with autisum so before u put it down dont
@Being Adopted Sucks leaning on Jesus Christ over man, know you are loved by the most supreme Father.
@Being Adopted Sucks Her opinion as an adoptee is just as valid as your own. Yes, plenty of adoptees hate it... and plenty more love it. I agree with Pixel that it can be a beautiful gift - the man who adopted me allowed me to escape a very toxic bio father. I was abused horrifically and the man who adopted me treated me like gold. I'm sorry your experience sucked but please don't take that out on someone else who was adopted and had an adoption experience that didn't suck.
I’m adopted from Guatemala. God bless you’re family.
*your
@Being Adopted Sucks why you so mad
ilove chinesefood really why would you say that on this?
@@nmorgan01 not the time for a grammar correction, maybe.
This is a very interesting and heartwarming story. I'd rather watch this than anything on TV now.
I agree with you 100%
Amen
For me it’s not a consideration-I’m _going_ to adopt someday.
Exactly !!!
I too would like to adopt a child. Especially in the 🇺🇲. It would be a blessing.😃
I feel the exact same as you. It's a calling that's been placed on my heart, and one I know I can't resist pursuing.
That’s it, my minds made up as I sit here and cry with such happiness… fostering and/or adopting is our next step.. thank you so much for sharing your story. You’re all so beautiful ♥️♥️♥️♥️
That’s awesome, that the story of this beautiful family inspired you to head in the same direction. I realize this was posted awhile ago but I really hope you have had success in your journey as well. Sending prayers and love your way 🙏😇💙
@@stephanieann622 thank you ❤️🙏🏼
As an adoptee, who lives in Knoxville and whose name is also Olivia Grace...I love this!!
Thank you for sharing your story! The story of why I adopted and the adoption process of my daughter is also a story and proof that God's Hand was involved the whole way. Now she's 17 and a blessing for me and for others. Her Chinese name means 'containing something special' and she really does. I thank Heavenly Father all the time for her. She's made me a better person and with the Lord's help a good mother. Me and my daughter have a great love and bond with each other which is wonderful. Adoption is wonderful and a blessing and a gift.
For me being adopted it’s like my family chose me which is a great feeling. And the day I was adopted we call family day since it was the day we became a family instead of“gotcha day.” Since it can sometimes also be referred to as kidnapping (since sometimes children that are “up for adoption” in certain areas can actually be taken from their parents). Such a beautiful story happy early birthday to your gorgeous girls, lovely family.
Awww! They're so beautiful! As soon as they came on camera, all grown up, I teared up a bit. Wonderful family!
This video is amazingly put together. What an inspiring story! I’ve been thinking about adopting for a long time and I talked about adoption earlier today and the first thing that was shown on UA-cam when I logged in after that conversation was your video. 🙏🏻 Thanks for sharing, I will continue to pray that God will give me opportunity to adopt as well.
Why is no one talking about what a beautiful family they have? They were all blessed with amazing genes.
Thank you for sharing. This truly touched my heart!
A beautiful story, beautifully told by a beautiful couple receiving two beautiful girls.
Not all adopting parents are good to the children, and this world is full of evil people who sell children to organ-traffickers or worse.
I had to say, out of all the adoption video i watched, your story and the emotions on your voice and face make me cry. I am thanking God for your blessings.🤗
Oh my gosh, I was just shopping in Powell yesterday. My daughter and I love the Ross store and Catos. Thank you for sharing your story. Blessings from East Tenn.
Beautiful story! Such lovely, lovely girls. God is good.

You have such a beautiful family and you‘re a really brave brother to make this video of your sisters ❤️
Interesting story - thanks for
sharing. Many countries are
so disorganised regarding paper
work regarding certain matters.
Bless you and your family. Greetings from Switzerland.
Very nicely done. Thank you for the narrative which explained everything so clearly. Just please turn the music down or better yet off. It is distracting. Beautiful family.
I love this story! God's timing is not our timing but what he has for us is always so much more than what we can hope for ourselves!
My dad adopted me after he married my mum as my biological father was abusive and threw my mum down the stairs because he didn't want a baby. We then lived with my grandparents and my mum started dating a soldier, they got married on my 2nd birthday, he adopted me and I am so lucky. I'm one of them as far as my dads side of the family are concerned, in fact I recently lost my dads twin but I had never met his gf until his funeral, we talk now and apparently my uncle never stopped talking about me and how much I meant to himself
Omg!! What a heartwarming story. Thank you two awesome people for sharing your loving story.
What a Fabulous, Wonderful Story, and I SO appreciate YOU sharing it with us! I was SO hoping that we could meet Those Baby Girls~ All Grown Up now~ AND THEN THERE THEY WERE... YAY! BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADIES, BRINGING SUCH BLESSINGS TO SUCH AN ALREADY LOVELY FAMILY! God does act in mysterious ways sometimes, and as we saw, faith & trust is All Important. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOUR WHOLE FAMILY!

So incredibly touching ❤️Such a beautiful family
I love watching these videos, it caught my eye seeing Antigua in the background! My family are actually missionaries to Guatemala for 8 years now. Two years ago we adopted my youngest sister, Guate is such a special place! Loved this!
This is a beautiful story! ❤️❤️
I'm so glad that you put God in the center of your life. Your ending was so beautiful I cried. You have a beautiful family! God bless you and your family. 🙏
Brilliant story and wonderful family. God bless you all. xx
"Your adopted children are not 'second fiddle' to your own children. . ." As a retired person who was adopted as a baby, my relatives have never considered me a relative. Cousins do not treat me as family. Once my parents were gone, my tie to their relatives no longer existed in their minds. It's sad. I had no siblings.
I am so sorry you have had to go through this. It makes me want to cry.
This was an inspirational story that really touched me.
Beautiful story ❤️ xx
I had two sons in my late thirties...I always wanted a daughter. However, I didn't want to take a risk with a pregnancy in my 40's. Adopting a baby girl would be such a blessing, but after researching adoption requirements, apparently divorced people are not as desired. It was not in the cards for me, so I just enjoy my boys and spoil my niece. Your story was lovely to hear. Beautiful family! PS Your youngest son is such a handsome kid
Look into foster adoption
A lot of babies are left at hospitals now. Our adoption attorney said they have a list of families who want to adopt. Go to dfac and take their classes and adopt that way. As long as you can care and provide they don't care if your divorced or not.
@@JCC_1975 Thank you for this tidbit
Such a beautiful heartwarming family. God knits a family together.
What a lovely story, beautiful family, wishing you all health and happiness 💗💕 xx
What a beautiful story. You were so lucky because my cousin tried to adopt from Guatemala and she spent thousands, visited the little girl two times and waited a very long time to find out it was a total scam. This little girl was not even adoptable. The lawyer and the agency were involved. In fact, Dateline did a show about this and she was featured. Your girls are lovely and you should be so proud. I also have two domestic adopted grandchildren and they are the loves of my life. Going through the adoption process with my daughter was the most wonderful experience one can have. God bless you all.
That was a beautiful story ♥️ I’m so glad that everything worked out for the best and they are gorgeous young women. Both of you are so Blessed to have an amazing family ♥️
I'm adopted so I was to young to know the meaning. My adopted parents were still my real mom N dad n my birth mom was my real mom to. N my step dad was my real dad to I had two FAMILYS I was blessed.
I'm so glad for the children gets adopted at least they will all be Loved by loving parents and will have a bright future.
What a beautiful story!! Thank you for sharing!
I always wanted twin girls!
Your girls' have mom's smile :)
How sweet is that?? 😊💕
Great Adoption story, I also have 3 children a boy and 2 girls. My husband and I have talked about opening our home to foster children needing love and security. Your twins are beautiful girls.
The girls are beautiful! Such a heartwarming video!
Thanks for sharing.
What an amazing beautiful story.
Wow amazing story!
I love this as I have always said even though their blood and genres aren’t the same they are still yours . You can not accidentally adopt. Adoption takes several months to years so eventhough they didn’t carry the child for many many months they still carry that idea of the child in their hearts for months and months possibly years and struggling to prove themselves worthy of the children and that’s a long emotional process so you love that child just as much as your biological children . To see someone’s heart so open and set to it warms my heart . This is such a beautiful story and your family is beautiful 💕
What a sweet story...thanks for sharing...that was nice
What a lovely story . What a blessing to this family.
Amazing beautiful story! God is so good! 😍 And that dog at the end is so photogenic 😂 gorgeous doggie 😁 God bless you all! ❤🙏🏼

Beautiful story....God Bless your family.
Beautiful story and family
This is so precious. Such a beautiful family!
Beautiful story...God Bless this family...amen..
Why is it that all channels like to play background music throughout the whole video? Its very distracting when trying to take in what is being said.
So loud!
I agree, it’s just too loud
It is very distracting. I don’t like the music they are playing, it doesn’t go with the video.
Other than that it’s a very heartwarming video. God bless this family.💙🩷💙💙💙🩷🩷
Ty for sharing your story y'all have some beautiful girls and happy that y'all was able to be there parents
Six months is no time. One of the fastest adoptions I have ever seen. It is so much better for the children rather than languishing in a children's home.
The waits are horrible with so many kids. Me and my husband have tried private and adopting from orphanages. We where told since 2 bio kids we where not candidates. We are now looking at international.
