That escalation and timing in the exchange of blows & deflections at 1:33 was _IMMENSELY_ satisfying. A stunning display as always!
Really iconic attack, first thing I think of when I remember laxasia.
Absolutely stunned by the lightning aura part of her stance break attack being avoidable with the weapon art parry and a backstep. That's amazing.

The Fable art that doesn't consume anything if you do a light attack (or nothing) is sooooo OP
Just tested it, because it was bugging me. If you use the dodgeparry fable art and successfuly deflect, the fable charge is refunded, but if you don't successfully deflect, the charge is consumed. This is opposite most parry fable arts, in which fable is only consumed on successful parry. That's absolutely amazing, and imo, busted. It's an easier parry that you can literally do infinitely.
So the reason ongbal could spam it was because he didn't do the big heavy attack? So if you dodge parry a attack but only do the light attack string or nothing it just refunds it?
@@thedoomslayer5863 Exactly. He actually ends up with more fable because he's got the quartz settings that increase fable for a perfect deflect.
I was just thinking of how I want to see how to really use this weapon and the great Ongbal uploads

I am so happy for this update, as last week I started my first Wo Long journey and to be able to do this and get it for free is amazing. Kudos to the developers.

So is the fable parry has bigger parry window than normal parry? If so then this weapon is broken because it refunds the fable art whenever you perfect parry and use light atk.

Is there a boss rush mode in this game? I just want to learn to parry the boss. I finished the game with the help of Specter, so it did not feel satisfying tbh 😅

Suggestion : I'd like to see you play Granblue Fantasy Relink and soloing bosses in the highest difficulties since there are many characters that use the parry/perfect dodge system.

Hm. Fable parry. Sound difficult. I follow in Ongbal footstep. I like at the beginning of 'ascent.' You know? Journey up great mountain or follow Ongbal begin one step at time. I learning from Ongbal, two dragon sword Laxasia. New weapon maybe late Spring/Summer. Fable parry sound impossble.

It looks like when you use the blade fable art, it doesn't consume fable charge. How is it possible?
It's feature of this weapon. If you succeed in a perfect guard with Y Fable Arts, you get the fable slot back.

@@_ONGBAL Oh so it only eats the fable slot if you succeed the parry then do the big heavy attack after? If that's true I'm assuming you use the dodge parry to parry every attack a boss does then on their final swing you dodge parry the final swing then do the heavy attack?
@@thedoomslayer5863 as far as i know, it only consumes a fable slot when you fail the parry. even when you do the follow up it doesn‘t consume any fable slots
