honestly it’s the only song of theirs that i’m not much of a fan of. I only like it when i’m driving and how the bass sounds on my system, but other than that the song is super repetitive and doesn’t do much for me. Anything else they’ve released i’m obsessed over tho lmao
This is definitely the Dark Signs of the album. It's slow and dark but the synth and bass make this an absolute bop which is not what you normally think of with Sleep Token.
This one stuck out for me majorly on my first listen of TPWBYT. It felt so deeply angry - like somehow even the music is played through gritted teeth. It's a grower for some people, especially when you know the emotions behind it.
I could go on and on about how unique each section and piece of this song is, and like break it down to a million pieces, proving how it's not repetitive at all. But nobody wants that probably lol. I'm just saying. I could gush about this song but it's like if you cant catch it, then you probably dont wanna hear about it.
Loathe's "I Let It in and It Took Everything" album is a really good one. I'd suggest "Is it really you?" (original that Sleep Token covered) and "Two-Way Mirror" :)

Within the context of the album, this song and the one before are softer, vibey breaks from the rest of the album. It definitely grows on you as you hear it more, though. "Like That" is kinda similar but is more upbeat and has that drop at the end. Definitely recommend that one and "Give"

Though I do feel it’s the shortest falling song of their entire catalog. But then you get telomeres after it and that’s a bit more entertaining. Descending is just like a mid album breather chill vibe song

Descending is definitely good but I miss for me. Some days I feel it, Some days I skip, just depends. It fits well in the form of the album tho. I think this is the mid point of This Place Will Become Your Tomb and afterwards we get the high water and Missing limbs tracks As far as recommendations: The Way That You Were Jericho Say That You Will

You didn't seem to like the intro of this song too much. I don't either haha it doesn't suit his vocal style and is a bit try hard in being abstract. Once it gets goin tho, it's got some good sounds in it. Definately not a top track for me tho. I feel like with the new songs, there's gonna be a lot of the needless overdramatics cut out on the new album. We'll see though!
Sadly, I think this is one of the worst ST songs to me personally. I like the high pitched vocals in the pre chorus but overall this song isn’t it for me and I always felt that way when I first heard the whole album. Always love the vids brother, would love to see you check out Resolve - Forever Yours.
